You may have to count me out for this tourney that’s going down Airthrow cause my internet won’t work. Some how when it was raining here in cali the water hitted one of our phone lines at my crib so I’ll tell you if I can be in this shit or not by tuesday right now I’m typing this shit up at school. Hopefully the dsl guy should get the shit all set up before the tournament (he’s due to come next week but won’t know for sure) I’ll tell you more info when I can.

Since I’ve never attended an online tournament, I’ll ask a few questions. First off, what if there is a desync, yet the other player honestly believes there wasn’t a desync and that they actually won? Also, it seems that wpp Chi and Airthrow have alot of lag when they play against me (for some unknown reason). I guess you guys will either have to live with it, or make the matches such that I don’t face you guys (unless it’s the finals or something).

DS typically never ever ever happens, unless someone has something screwed up… we should get some private servers up so nothing goes wrong… really…
Yeah, but in your case, I’m also lagging. When I face wppChi or Airthrow, I have no lag, but they lag like crazy. And desync usually happens to me when I try to record with other people. In fact, the reasons I haven’t recorded matches with domino, acerpgpilot, dj lindo, etc is because recording causes desync.
Recording is optional, but strongly encouraged.
If anyone can help with private servers, PM me the IP or info.

MY old man only wants the dsl guy to show on wenesday he couldn’t show up today so I have to wait till next week to use dsl really I wanted to enter in this and test my skillz owell. Ok, I downloaded this MirC, what the hell do I do? I made a nick and such, tried to go into a bunch of servers and even after clicking Connect, it says “Not Connected”. What am I supposed to do to get this working properly?
Edit: Ok, I think I fixed that (I didn’t think the Full Name field was manditory). Now what exactly do I do to get into that KoF chatroom we’ll be using? I went to that link Airthrow, chose a nick and got in…I see no option there to chat or anything.

Emil, just use my link. After you enter your nick type “/join #kof2k2” (without the quotations) and it will take you to the #kof2k2 chatroom.

We have a serious snowstorm here and I don’t know if that will affect connections. We’re due for about 2 feet of snow. It’s been less than twenty degrees all week and I have a cold. I’ll still be there though in about 2 hours. I’ll be playing MGS3 until then.

Argh… I can’t believe my freaking luck. Usually on Saturdays my bro goes out and comes back in the night and parents do random stuff so I get some good free time. Today apparently bro isn’t going out and parents are doing nothing, and even worse, bro had the great idea of waching a movie in family and looks like its gonna happen 
. And I can’t say “screw it” to family…
So… I don’t know for sure what’s gonna happen, maybe I’ll be there if nothing happens, or maybe a bit late. I’ll try hard to not miss this tourney… again :sad:
