Emil mIRC is a chat program I think since most of us our on aim and we should do it that why i can start a chatroom for it just say what time cause Emil here doesn’t have MIRC.
I know what Mirc is, but never bothered to use it. From what I hear, it’s more complicated than your typical chatting programs. Why exactly is this chatroom thing necessary anyways?

Nothing goes 100% smoothly, especially online, and it’s just neccessary to fix problems.
You wouldn’t expect a real tournament to be ran without people being able to all communicate…online is no different.

If you’re too stupid to use mIRC, you’re probably too stupid to play KOF correctly anyway. Don’t worry, we won’t miss you. Don’t bother showing up.

There will be an IRC applet so you can all just go to the website I post, pick your username, and then type in “/join #(name for the chatroom)”
I am going to run the tourney but I’m not a fucking nanny who is going to give each and every person the AIM/ICQ/MSN name of whoever their opponent is. In IRC I can contact every participant easily in one place.
Oh man, I was playing KOF Neo Wave with some Mexicans today, that game is pretty fucking fun, I didn’t know what the different modes were though. I was the only gringo, none of those dudes spoke English. :sad:

Except that’s a totally relative claim. I can also say you’re stupid because you likely don’t know how to use a program like say, Microsoft Visual C++. Also, what the relation between the ability to use mIRC and play KoF is, is beyond me.
Except it isn’t, since mIRC requires no specialized knowledge, whereas C++ does. There aren’t any large books or courses offerred on mIRC. Thats like comparing eating a sandwich to preparing a 5 course meal at an expensive restaurant. The latter requires specialized knowledge, whereas the former is rather expected of a person of normal intelligence.
The correlation between lack of intelligence and an inability to play a competitive fighting game is simple. The fact that you can’t see it only further cements my opinion of you. mIRC is extremely simple to use. It takes all of 30 seconds to understand how to use the program. It’s actually much more intuitive than the process of making an AIM chatroom. If you’re going to keep claiming its ‘too complicated’ then I’m just going to have to assume you’re retarded. The more likely scenario is that you’re just too fucking lazy, so thats your problem.
