After the direction they took the last on in, I don’t evne wanna see another KOF. It’s like they are shitting on my childhood. I would however look forward to them putting out a BRAND NEW Fatal Fury and Sam sho, but only if they have someone collaborating with them that could give them the helping hand they apparently need. A new Samurai Showdown in the vein of part 2 with a big colorful cast and solid game play would be ver refreshing. Not this crap fest were half the characters get butchered because they spend to much time animating Ash’s hair and jeans with tight ass cheeks in them.

Rugal is really the only way to go when it comes to bringing back classic characters. Rugal reunited with Vice and Mature boss team for KoF 13 would be freakin top shelf. SNK really needs to bring back Bernstein.
If it has King in it I will play the shit out of it.

I think the game has potential if they build heavily on XII, the graphics were wonderful and the gameplay at it’s core was not bad at all, but I really did notice how empty some characters felt in comparison to their earlier outings (Mature especially) and just in general how stripped down and strange the game felt. I have my fingers crossed they can do something very good with XIII.
Will be great to see some new characters get a HD makover.

Actually come to think of it, I could really go for another Mark of the Wolves right about now.
In fact, instead of making KOF the pioneer game for their new hardware/sprites etc they probably should have gone with something less character/team heavy like MOTW or AoF etc. I do remember reading something about them saying they wanted to work on a MOTW sequel after the new KOF game (Which I assume was XII, it’s an old interview) but that was probably just talk.

I actually enjoyed XII a lot despite it being a really bare-boned port of a seemingly incomplete game. I’d like to see a larger move list and a few tweaks, sure, but I liked the feel and loved the look. Here’s to hoping.

I can’t believe people are bending back over to take it after KOFXII XBL Garou, KOF98UM, KOF2002, FFS, and SS2. I seriously can’t.
KOF 2k2 UM is actually a great game, so maybe there’s some chance they may get it right with XIII, even if it’s remote.
