Not to go off on a tangent, but didn’t Treiu mention on snk-capcom a while back that SNK was working on a new crossover title that many speculated to be SS vs. LB? Whatever happened to that?

The only characters I would like to see are Geese, Rugal, Kruaser, and Heidern. Rugal might make it as a boss, but I’m not betting on seeing the others.
Concerning how long it takes for sprites to be made, if it took roughly 4 years to make 22 sprites, I don’t see them making 10 more sprites in one year unless they’ve somehow managed to seriously cut down on their production time. Yeah, we don’t know how many were close to finished when XII dropped, but I doubt it was close to 10. I think XII needed another two years of development to be truly finished. Thus, I don’t have high hopes for XIII being as complete as it could/should be, but I could be wrong.
I think SNK may have a few other projects in the backburner like that crossover you mentioned and possibly Garou 2 (I hope) But i think XII/XIII has put them in a hell of a bind so they’re focusing all on that to try and recoup their money as quickly as possible (as well as to reusing assets for rereleases/updates like 2k2um/NGBCXBL
I want EVERYBODY to get their movesets, dms, and maybe a couple new moves and/or dms for a select few. Kensou in XII was refreshing as hell…if only his super Chou Kyuu Dan was combo-able and did multiple hits so you can juggle with a follow up.

I’m guessing that Hwa is part of what would be a boss FF alternate team. What a weird pick has he even been in anything besides ff1, ? He only had one move in that game as far as I could tell, kudo’s for the obscure pick SNK. But why not Micheal Max, Duck King or Richard Meiyer, they make more sense don’t they? His character design I’m guessing will be overhauled because as of now it’s just too generic.
Billy Lee has got me amped the only thing that worries me is the copyright issue. How is SNK handling that? Are they using the Billy from ROD’s that doesn’t actually break copyright.
Pretty sure the list refers to Billy Cane. If this list is true, we’re probably looking at a Fatal Fury team consisting of Billy, Hwa Jai and Raiden. Where are they gonna stick Kim?
When TRIEU visited SNK, way before ANY info on the roster popped up, he said he saw sprites for Rayden, Andy, Robert and BIlly from ROTD. He got 3 right, so it gave credence to the “Billy from ROTD” thing. That also fit with what Nona had said in 2005 or 2006 - that XII (the original version, at least), like NGBC and MIA, would have characters from outside SNK.
But even so, Billy Kane makes more sense, as he makes a full team (with Hwa and Rayden). As do Mai, King, Takuma, Yuri, Vice, the characters from the XBox 360 data.
just remember this continues the story. it’s not a dreammatch so don’t get ridiculous expectations like Geese and anyone that wasn’t in an official team in 2003 or XI.
I would be surprised if K’s team doesn’t make it in. They were present during Heidern and Ikari Team’s meeting on that ship, along with Vanessa’s Agents Team there too. It would be odd if they are not present in this game. Why plan to add fighters like Hwa Jai and Billy before them?
It’s madness because it would make Heidern’s meeting was for nothing.

yes from what we know chances are they could only complete 6 in a year’s time, but it depends if they expanded and quickened the time it takes to complete characters. So maybe about 10 added isn’t overexaggerating.
I’m glad we have a solid date for when we should hopefully know some more details about this game. Looking forward to seeing what is revealed on March 25th.

Yes, because no kof game is complete without the typical… football player. Heavy D would be awesome though. Ditch those lame teammates and team up with Kim.
