Yeah I went again to the MS store to play KI and played against some people that actually knew what they were doing (including my bro). It’s a lot more stressful trying to remember which shatter to do during auto doubles and getting the enders to come out with the left buttons in the middle of a heated match. It’s nice for just getting stuff out, but my mind is wired to do more complicated, timing sensitive decisions on a stick. It just doesn’t register the same on a pad for me.
It’s all up to Markman now for me.

Well you could always buy the Pin Ultimate collector’s edition just to support the game and have something physical. Honestly, if you’re not going to buy an Xbone I’d personally think you’d be better off just watching streams and maybe telling a stream monster or two that it’s a good game. Enter the tournament at a major would probably be the absolute best thing you could do without buying the system. I was never a man of systems since myself or someone else in the family always ends up getting all the systems eventually. Only thing we don’t get is the Wii and my bro still loves the 3DS.
That’d pan out better for someone who isn’t going to buy the system more than anything else. I know nobody is going to convince me to buy a WiiU, but I respect anyone that likes it or owns it etc.
Wow…well this is just great…so I got a new (temp) card from my bank since my other card was cancelled as of yesterday. I call Gameshark (Madcatz) so I can switch my card information (since they don’t actually charge the card until shipment) so I don’t have to go through the same thing I did with Amazon and they actually can’t switch the information. hahahahahaha. So I’ll have to cancel my preorder (and they don’t know if it will be first come or first serve, which is what the representative told me) and order it again. sigh Welp, I’ll be playing with a controller (whenever I get my xbox one) until further notice. Got damnit.

Again, if I don’t have mine at launch or over the weekend, chances are I will just go buy a wired controller and figure out how to mod my current joystick over the weekend.
Actually, there are no wired controllers.
However, the X1 controller is designed do that if it’s plugged in, it bypasses the wireless and functions as a wired controller, eliminating the lag issues.
So basically, you just need to by a cord.
Yeah I know, I’m talking about the wireless + plug/charge combo you can get for $75.

Yeah man I will let you know if I go that route. I’d probably just compare it to the 360 controller PCB since they are so similar (at least on the outside) and see if I could figure it out. Definitely not guaranteed that I could figure it out though, but I’m sure someone who is smarter than me will figure it out within a week of the system being out.
I also would like to do it on my TE if I do it, so that I don’t screw up my dual modded ps3/360 balrog stick that I have. But my brother has the TE, and he’s in Cambridge lol, so not sure how I would get it. I don’t know, I’ll wait to see what happens with the TE2’s and the info that MadCatz gives us in the next day or so, and if it looks like I won’t have a joystick by next Friday, I may get a little adventurous this weekend since I got nothing to do.
Not sure if this is news to everyone but it’s new to me, but the KI port is going to have a training mode.
