I heard it usually comes on around 2PM EST. Which is like 7PM your time.
There is usually no NDA involved in a beta.
So, anyone expecting a slight preview of Orchid this week? I think they did the same thing with Thunder for Gamescom, wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped a few more teases to push the hype up farther.
Maybe, there is only a month before release so this crunch time for everyone. Marketing people, programmers and everything in-between.
They did everything short of confirming we’d get some kind or orchid preview. So there’s a good chance.
I hope she’s a twist on the puppet character. Then we’d have 6 characters with 6 completely different playstyles… Which you could argue is more than sf4 can manage with 500 characters (or whatever that game is up to now).
Another note on my puppet character comment.
Because of the combo systems in this game, a puppet character would be considerably less “bullshitty” than in other games.

Please let us know if they make any mention of the Madcatz TE2 in that stream, like when it will be coming for preorder or if it’s officially going to be out at launch! It’s killing me that I don’t have one preordered yet, because I can’t preorder one yet! And if it’s out at launch, you KNOW they are going to be scarce.
With the Laser Cat? She’d be more of a Trapper since she could send it out as well as fire a Lasaken to back it up. I think she’s be more balanced like her little bro though, considering the order they’ve gone in.

We have no idea what her moveset is going to look like.
I honestly doubt they’d show anything Orchid related until they formally release a trailer of her a la Sadira.

So Shadow Jago is an exclusive character!? I was’nt very clear on it but from what i understand, you have to get the Day one Edition to get him and i think there is one other way. Then when someone in the stream asked if you could buy him Klobb gave a solid “NO!”… If it was just a skin for Jago, no big deal, but they’ve said before he’s like another character and seeing how they were hinting that in early versions on this new KI Jago used to have some Akuma like moves, shadow Jago will likely be the Akuma of this game… All that said, why split the user base by making him exclusive?? TO’s aren’t gonna let shadow Jago rock in tourney’s.
Sadira’s archtype is officially described as “aerial rushdown”.
Ready symbol now flashes. Which was an idea I supposed in the DH forums so you could tell when you could attack without the word fight. I guess ill find out soon if that’s exactly how it works.
So I managed to ask my question with regards to the instinct mode models being used in outros, they said it was a good idea, hope something comes of it, will be a nice bit of extra polish!

The Orchid slip up was nothing we haven’t seen in the trailer already. Goggles? Check. Tits? Check. Wears Green? Check. Dat skin? Check. Glow Sticks? Check.
The fucking second melody in the main theme sounds so epic. I can’t wait to hear it properly. You can hear it at the end of the stream when they were talking about the dojo. I was vibing hard to that shit. Mick Gordan is that dude.
