Oh that’s weird. When I was watching the stream I saw Chief Thunder do like a really big lightning strike attack and Jago preformed a shoryu-reppa like move that looked so much like super moves lol.
Well, they aren’t truly EX moves, but they are closer to EX than Super.
Also, the game is borrowing some of the NRS meter style. That is, making an enemy block attacks is the best way to gain meter. Also, metergain is different from attack to attack, as an example, Jago’s fireball builds a fuck ton of meter on block (25%), and some characters have meter gain enders (thunder).
I think this may add alot of depth to the game that we won’t notice at first (because we will all suck). But, look at sadira, her only two enders are juggle enders, she has no easy oki or meter enders, and this is on a character that needs meter to do damage and for defense. Meanwhile, Jago, it looks like his LP fireball is really good on block, can manual on hit, and builds 25% meter… damn.
Also Sadira doesn’t have a wallsplat ender either… No swag corner combos for her 
FlyingVe has convinced me that Jago is really strong in this game.

How many people here will be on XBL playing KI on launch night?
This will be my first time buying a system on launch. If they’re releasing it at 12AM Friday at my Best Buy, that’s where I’ll be and probably be up playing till lunch time and pass out. LOL.
I know Flying Ve is getting it day one. Other people I know like Eiroheart, Purbeast and Koop are getting it day one also. Depending on the situation I don’t know how long I’ll be playing on Xbox Live though. I’ll probably play just long enough to see how good the netcode is, or if I need to bitch at how shitty it is like Skullgirls was before the patch. Hopefully the netcode comes strong out the gate where I’m not lagging with people near me. Otherwise probably gonna be playing mostly offline getting in games with the locals that will be playing day one and doing lots of training mode with Glacius. The Saturday and Sunday I might find some time for XBL though.
Damn, this game is going to be hot online. I’m kinda jealous now that I’m realizing this game is going to be extremely popular online, if only for the fact that it’s one of the most anticipated X1 launch titles.

The fight stick is advertised on Xbox’s website so it should be ready for launch. They’re just being hella hush for whatever reason.

The issue is me even getting one where I live. I may have to order it, which could take a while.
I pre ordered at a Microsoft store in a mall there’s no way they’re doing a midnight release… Profound envy.
Yeah I’m getting it day 1 but from Amazon so it comes when UPS drops it off lol. I also probably won’t play it seriously if there aren’t fight sticks available at launch. If there aren’t any available at launch I will probably buy an x1 controller with plug/charge kit and wire that up to my current one, but that will take some time for me to actually do.
I hope this bitch comes out for PC.
It won’t come out to PC any time in the next 2 years or so. If anything it’ll be long into the X1 lifetime. It would be a retarded business decision to put it out on PC ever to be honest. You lose the chance of people purchasing a console and future games/accessories for $20. Definitely not worth it long run. I bet the SF4 PC numbers are total ass compared to console versions (which aren’t high by any means either for console game sales). Fighters aren’t a huge market at all, they are a small niche market. It’s not like they are losing $200 million in sales like a GTA or COD.
The X1 exclusivity is really bittersweet. The game is likely to shine due to it being a first-party launch title, but only people with an X1 get to play it.
Oh well, this is probably the best case scenario for what could have happened with this series reboot. If they bring a port to PC in 3 years, I’ll be happy.
