Glacius’s armor is only good for one hit. It will depend if the combo breakers are multiple hit like past games
Same thing with PS4 except the system is $100 less. Not much of a difference really.
Paying for PS+ can be eliminated for F2P games as they ain’t blocked by the paywall. Fighters including this one are hopping on that bandwagon.

With no Fighting Games coming out for PS4 right away there’s no pressure to buy an Arcade Stick for the system right away, if any exist at all.
And most importantly your PS+ account transfers over if you have one already.
Buying everything at once in bulk isn’t a wise move.

Yes, this gen sticks/controllers are not compatible with next gen.

$710 - still pretty expensive, just to play one game, assuming people actually mean their “im only buying a X1 for KI3” comments.
While true, (I’m also getting Watch Dogs), it’s not like there aren’t other games that people dont want or will want. What I’m saying is that, yes, while I’m primarily buying the Xbox one for KI as that is the launch Title that excites me the most, I also am investing in the Xbox one platform because of the titles that are coming down the pipeline and believe in some of the exclusives that MS will have for the system. Same with PS4, even though for me, the game I want doesn’t come out until Q1.
So saying, all this money for one game isn’t really true, as the system will have other abilities and other content, but for the launch, yes. We’re gamers. We do stuff like that. Happens every launch period. Every single one.
Maybe by some grace of god our old Xbox TE sticks will work and it’ll only cost the price of the game system and game. If not…yeah I’ll probably throw down still. I don’t play anything but fighting games anymore and this looks like the first new fighting game I’d like to play. I always like seeing something fresh when it comes to fighting games and Killer Instinct looks like it’s going to have powerful offensive and defensive games. Hella frame traps and throws and Glacius looks like he’ll be keeping people in the zone with some strong offense as well.
I’d like to see another tag team style game like Marvel or Skullgirls where the characters are all a part of the battle and can be switched between at any time. Killer Instinct has enough of what I like in a 2d fighter and overall gives me the most of what I liked about playing Ibuki in 3rd Strike. Lots of mind games and although there will be matchups, getting in the opponents head even during a combo situation will be very interesting and something that hasn’t regularly been a part of a regularly played fighting game in a long time.
Bought a Dreamcast for Soul Calibur and Marvel vs. Capcom 1 (literally played nothing but these two games until 3S came out). I bought an Xbox 180 for Dead or Alive 3. Bought an Xbox 360 for Virtua Fighter 5 and Halo, and Killer Instinct coming from the grave is enough for the One.
I’m not really a gamer…just like to play fighting games. I retired from playing the majority of game genres after I started taking 3rd Strike seriously. There was a period of about 4 years where I was literally playing nothing but 3S with the occasional Guilty Gear and Tekken Tag. Hopefully Killer Instinct gets popular enough that I can just play that, Marvel and maybe Skullgirls till whenever the new Marvel and SF eventually releases.

Foehammer has been around for a while. Obviously talking about the 2001/2 Xbox. Some people still play their Xbox 180’s or have emulators on them.
