Just came back from watching the KI demontration on the EVO stream.

And OH DEAR LORD do they need to put some limitations on those breakers cause they look abusable as fuck!
the KI demo didn’t do too well even though I thought the matches were solid. Everybody is still butthurt from MS.
It’s unfortunate that KI is caught in the crossfire no matter how promising the game looks.
True, the game still looks cool, but you gotta admit, some of those mechanics look like they still need some work before they release the next build.
They reduced the damage in this build, but apparently the damage scales up during a combo. There seemed to be a lot of combo breakers, but now there’s a counter combo breaker to counteract that. No idea how that works.

yea, but that’s normal for a game in development & running location tests. This EVO build is better than the E3 build, that’s for sure.
I’m actually happy that Thunder’s the next one being showcased for two reasons…
- He was my main when I first got into Killer Instinct, and I still remember his moves.
- We’ll get a good look at how they’ll incorporate him, Cinder and Riptor into this version.
All of that buildup for… an axe in a tree… I NEED MORE!!!

Btw, do you know what’s funny? Somebody in the EVO chat called the game “Divekick 2: The Combo Breaker Edition” or something like that. XD
Disappointed at the “reveal”. That should have been shown prior to EVO. Not during.

I feel so used…
Only thing I don’t like is not knowing when the next reveal will be. SDCC is next week but that’s too good to be true, and the only other event that’s close I can remember off the top of my head is Tokyo Game Show…not really the prime spot for showcasing anything Xbox-related.
