Would like to know you guys’ opinion on something I see some Decapres do in neutral
It’s, Scramble > wait > jumping normal, I mean it leaves you in a weird floaty, falling state that sort of throws the player off. Anyone consider this an effective tool to begin pressure? I don’t use it much myself in all honesty, but I see players like Du use it a lot, and this guy I play online occasionally has like a million points and he’s doing that most of the time
Interested to know what matchups you like it in personally, and I’ll be taking note of where other players are using it. I’m just looking to add dimensions to my game where I can, feeling kind of stationary atm
Like Ves said, it’s match up dependent (People who can AA far in front of them?) I like to use empty HK scramble into J.HK or Light Spiral arrow to mix up their AAs. Very effective in the corner as it’s pretty easy to line up a spiral arrow to hit near their legs for max frame advantage. Also been trying to work in HK scramble into J.HP in the corner as a mix up, seemed effective after a cl.mp air reset but I need more practical testing
This is literally useless (other than maybe to be ridiculously flashy and throw it in a highlight reel) but I just discovered that a Counter-Hit EX Cannon Strike below the knee can combo into Fox Tail
after doing tc -> airthrow it feels like its really easy to do stuff on the first frame after landing. is there a buffer window in the airthrow recovery or something?
