Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is cl.HP linked into cr.MK a one or two frame link? I need to know whether to plink MK with LK or just double/triple tap MK. Linking cr.MP after the cl.HP is infinitely easier but I find that hitting a max distance cl.HP puts too much distance between me and my opponent to link cr.MP
mk is 1f, mp is 2f
Can we at least still do stinger after cl.HP > cr.MP/MK?
cl.hp is super super slow, so yes
Ahh this stealth nerf is fucking killing me! Only a couple weeks before a big tournament in my area, and whilst everyone is getting even more godlike I’m here like Capcom’s bitch trying to adjust to their fucking unannounced changes
Decapre though? Sting and U2 are really considered too good? =/
landing a divekick in a way that only one normal will connect afterwards and not having time to cancel it to psycho sting is killing me
I guess we’re stuck with buffering hands after everything. There goes a lot of damage.
I can still get hk scramble -> oddly spaced divekick, cr.mk xx sting.
mk scramble -> oddly spaced divekick, cr.lk xx sting might be tight.
I’m dropping a lot of stings after cannon drill in the corner. Well, I’m just dropping lots of sting now…but that jump back jab da god tho! Lol
I love jump back jab as an air-to-air instead of Sting…lol
Plinking really makes hands-type inputs more manageable. For the first time I feel like I can get them out without having to rely on a lenient button or ex meter.
Well, like 4 times out of 20. But it’s progress. thanks based decapre forum
Already tired of jump back normals, AAing with U2 only to get the ground version because the inputs overlap whilst the charge times now vary, comboing into U2 is now unnecessarily difficult off of practical setups… yeah, might be done with this character, and it sucks for me to say that because I don’t think I’ve ever had as much legit fun playing an SF character since I first picked up Fuerte properly in Super
Guess it gives me a chance to try Sak again
Giving up on the character because one of her two godlike Ultras isn’t practical now?
k
This isn’t worth quiting a character over.
But I’m pretty sure the only reason it happened was some Capcom employee got butthurt about losing to side switching EX stomp, sting, U2.
That really manages to take the fun out of video games.
Anyone got suggestions into setting up a cr.HP as a counter hit into U2? I can get it down but can’t find good situations to bait someone to press a button and land it.
After a cr.mp, mashers usually get hit.
U2 is definitely still practical. I’m just not interested in playing a character where the “balance testers” are actively willing to reduce their options. It’s not even like these were particularly powerful tools either, just a few things that made Decapre more interesting and that’s all it’s down to honestly
jp blog saying these changes were unintentional and will be reverted. Just a heads up.
thank fucking god. the most fun i’ve had playing street fighter turned into a mess of frustration.
Good. Though I wonder how that went in by mistake in the first place.
