Others replied with excellent points and shared knowledge. Nothing wrong with asking advice or voicing opinions even if they are wrong or a bit thick, dont reply or at least discuss it instead of posting pointless ‘hurr durr, get better’ nonsense.
EDIT: I sound like a jerk but even after someone asked why you rate her ap highly you ignored it. I don’t get it. I also have no idea why I got so annoyed to be honest. Awesome, you have her all figured out and adapting, cool, good for you I suppose.

can you use at least 4 different AA at any given time w/o charge?

I’m very interested to know why you think she’s top 10 Malv. I think she’s pretty high up there but it’s all theory and I need to do some testing before I talk out of my ass =S
her design allows her to do sutff in a way others charge characters would kill to have.
i mean look you have a move that is FULLY invencible until you activate a follow up it only has 2 limits:
1st is a charge move
2nd creativity
If the player cant use his head to use this move (scramble) then is no point on disscusing anything, i mean cmon you have 3 types of scramble and every follow up is unique barring RSE, but everybody is ABUSING the goddamn HP break.
Walkspeed from decapre is tied with Chun so is actually top tier walk speed (top5 at least in this regard), have you looked her normals? cr.mp is +6 on hit +3 on block, cl.lp is +4 on block, cr.mk and st.mk are super good pokes, st.hp and cr.hp are awesome plus she can chain any light attack back and forth. Granted her throw range sucks and her Kara throw game is ass, but she doesnt really need Ken´s kara throw either.
Damage output and specially STUN ouput are stupid good, almost every special does 120+ (RSE and strike are 100-). Decapre can stun some characters in one combo + mix up thats quite strong given the fact that SHE DOESNT GIVE A F*CK ABOUT DWU, why? remember scramble 2nd limit? exactly if i see the technical i can delay my follow up, in fact she doesnt need any safe jump at all due Ex MP break as is fully invencible and 0 recovery. Scramble itself is a mix up from the moment you use it cant you see it?
and im not even done with all her other amazing tools, tell me now what other character can pull some of this stuff?

Your above posts are condescending nonsense (btw), I posted I was having trouble with scramble slide and that I ranked her under a list of high mid to mid teir characters (not bottom, not even close, just flawed). Others disagreed and I actually agree with a lot of what was talked about and learned from people suggesting options I never taught of. This ‘can you’ list is laughable in the context of what was being discussed.
Anyway, I shouldn’t have bothered my arse saying anything about your replies, I just added to the pointless post count even further.

i really dont like players/posters like you tbh. The first thing you guys do in general is asking the same question w/o reading threads, complain about stuff you clearly dont understand when the smart thing is either think outside the box or give it some time to develop counters and such

You don’t like posters/players like me… are you on drugs? You dont know me, and nowhere in the thread did I see the lack of projectile invincibility on scramble slide being discussed. If it was mentioned you could have pointed it out.
The reason I posted was so I could understand the move better and learn other options, that’s how counters and options develop. I posted in the general disscusion thread because I was talking about her in general. Why the hell would you frequent an open forum when you dislike others discussing the game or at differing levels of knowledge.

Maybe I was still having trouble with rse, maybe I’m spoiled by guys ex run slide vs fireballs or hozanto shutting down focus at ranges decapre seemed to struggle at.
I edited my above post as it appeared out of line after your last reply. I get that multiple questions can be annoying but on an open forum you point in the right direction or share if you want. Posting snide/pointless or condescending fluff does nothing but annoy people. Its not like I asked If HP break was safe or that she should have a command grab.

i think decapre has everything a character really needs… knockdown mixup, potent. close game, potent. midrange game, workable.
then she has some tools that don’t make a lot of sense, but are really good. ex spiral arrow and ex scramble (MK+HK) with MP break, very hard to stop and she’s into her close range game.
then she has some tools that do make sense, and they are really good. sting is 5f, but it is fully invin til then and has a good hitbox (and hooray it’s active). ultra 2 is anti fireball, anti neutral jump, and combos off a lot of things. ultra1 is yoga catastrophe on a cammy without cannon strike.
her normals for the footsie game are not super amazing, but that’s to balance her close game. and they’re still pretty decent - jump in HK, cr MK, far HP, far MP.
and of course LP hands, you can use as a poke tool that knocks down on hit which lets you start your close game.
main weaknesses - slightly disadvantaged in the footsie game, but not hopeless. LK scramble slide, far HP, jump in HK, and her long range focus attack help here.
can have trouble vs grapplers who obviously have the best close game in the game. ultra 1 can help, and obviously you are faster. MK scramble also helps you switch sides so you don’t get cornered too easily, just don’t get too predictable
anti air game without down charge - decapre has options for situations but they’re not always going to work.
@Danonino - Maybe you should read through the threads.
At first I thought Malvadisco was a dick. Took me all of 3 days to realise that wasn’t the case.
People come in to this forum and start asking the same questions that have been asked several times before and as Malvadisco is one of the main contributors to the Decapre forum, being polite and answering the same crap again and again proberly wore a bit thin.
While I’m not endorsing that attitude, but every question you asked has already been answered (More than once).
Also if you had read through the forum you would’ve seen how many times the “Hands” question got asked in the first two weeks (Even after a Thread was created solely for that) and you might understand some of the frustration in this forum.
Something that annoys me - Offline I can AA pretty well. Had a session last Saturday and one of my friends and I sat down for a good 20 minutes going over her stuff. Was showing him how good cl.MP is for those deep jump-ins, st.MK/far.HK for the far and so on.
When I got home I went online and didn’t anti-air anyone once. (I know that’s because I’m bad but I think you get my point)
Also - is it just me or do other people sometimes get frustrated in a game and go for Scramble, then instantly want to facepalm? I know I get impatient and that’s something I need to work on but I feel like I’m playing a solid game then my brain is like “Hey, you’ve got a teleport. Why not just play like Wesker?” which is followed by one terrible teleport after another.

If you allow me, what i meant when i said “i dont like posters like you” i was referring to the attitude and mindset.
I have been posting in the chun sub forums since vanilla and ever since desk’s videos showing leg loops and infinites we have to deal with the “how can i do leg loops?” i even made a thread gathering all the possible information related: didnt matter ppl were asking the same Q all over the place sometimes you could count in the same page how many times the very same question was asked.
Granted is not your fault or anyone really is Just depressing for me to stand all this again.
Im the type of player that believes in sharing and teaching stuff but most of you post things that make me want to punch a baby. I’ve even warned by @Preppy so im trying. But you guys need to stop beeing so scrubish about stuff, dont post stuff claiming some tool is ass or terribad w/o testing or exploring decapre is just one month old give it time

Seriously though I think that anyone who does read the threads in this forum and sees just how much work you’ve put in (In less than a month no less) can see you want to help everyone else out. Otherwise you’d just be sitting on tech with comments like “Yeah, I knew about that from day -3” any time someone tries to be constructive.
As I said in my last post though - Your posts seem to have become less and less tolerant of people (Especially those who haven’t bothered to read anything) but that is something that is obviously going to happen again and again if said people can’t be bothered.
All in all I’d like to thank you for the sheer amount of information you have given out. I think we can all tell how frustrated you’re getting with it but I think we’re be quite far behind without your informative posts.
I’d like to second the @Malvadisco being helpful. I’d also like to ask why the fuck should he, I or anyone tolerate someone who can’t even be bothered to try and help themselves? The search function exists for a reason and it does work. Or hell there’s always reading which is helpful since there aren’t that many threads in this sub-forum and none of them are especially long.
Should we make a Q&A thread so people don’t suffer high blood pressure over people asking already answered questions? Those who don’t want to answer can just direct them there.

Look listen, I come from the Viper threads. People ask a billion questions on there and make whole new topics on how to do specific executional things that’ve been answered a million times ago, just like on here. You’re not the first person ever to put with this, and you won’t be the last. I direct them to the Q&A. I already know that some will ask the same questions regardless of whether there’s a thread or not. However, if a thread exists, those people don’t have an excuse and you don’t have to waste time with snarky replies. I merely proposed the idea so that people like you don’t have to constantly rage (well, you could just ignore their question). But yeah, I know how annoying it is. And I am actually gonna do the thread at some point, wanted to check with Dev first.
I really like Malva and think he’s doing excellent work, especially since I love Decapre. I just wanted to check in with him before his brain exploded: Malva’s an excellent community asset when he stays sane. Some times it’s just helpful to remind people to Ignore the terrible posters rather than risk being dragged down to their level. :tup:
