can the mod make a sticky on how to do hands/ different ways to do it? question gets asked all the time

people should really just be reading threads before asking ANYTHING. the reason questions keep getting asked is because people are too lazy to read the thread then 80% of the thread becomes redundant information and questions.

the combo thread is 90% people posting already known combos, literally not reading any other posts, and just being told “we know” over and over. Then when someone does find something the thread is so long people just skip over the posts and then even less people read them.

It’s all really stupid.

Quick question since I don’t have the game, Decapre’s stomp move from scramble doesn’t hit high, does it? I always thought it did since like the trailer, but apparently from frame data it does not.

I havn’t read the thread but what does DCM stand for if anything. Anyone here read the Udon comics?

I think i heard on some stream that it stands for defensive combat move or something similar

defensive counter maneuver = DCM

Apparantly axe kick c.mp xx lk tatsu from eryu wiffs on decapre, even when standing. It hits on cammy, so i guess they dont have the same hurtbox / reel animation.

I did some further testing in regards to the untrue blockstring shenanigans of Cr.mk xx lp hands. I think the reversal window might be just frame. You can’t mash the uppercut as then you would be crouching and if you are crouching it’s a true blockstring and no reversal can come out. This is probably only going to be an issue at the very highest level, against players who know the matchup reeeeeeeeally well. So, don’t worry too much about it, just keep abusing that shit

It would’ve been a lot worse if this was the case against any charge character as some of their invincible reversals don’t contain down inputs and the normal reversal leniency would apply. But against every charge character it’s always a true blockstring, so no worries.

Is there some trick to do it?

Haven’t tested it out yet but the timing might be similar to Ken far lp to u2.
You have to wait a few frames, it won’t connect if you do it right after hit

The far lp hits meaty, giving more advantage on hit.

Ryu’s Cammy-specific combo, f.hp cr.mp far mp xx HP SRK, also doesn’t work on Decapre. They definitely don’t have the same hurtbox.
