if you’re in a decapre mirror match and she wakes up ultra 2 as you do an overhead, ultra 2 completely misses lol.

Couple of questions:

  1. Does EX scramble have any invincibility on it? I thought I remember combo mention it in a vid.

  2. Can you do TC1 (mp, hk), EX stinger, DCM? i know TC1, DCM works but i have a hard time getting the charge+ motion before they fall. I can do it easy off AA stinger. Thought it might be easier this way. I know I saw a TC1, stinger mid screen in a vid today. Would check my self but working :(.

So, Decapres overhead kick (the df. mk). Why? It sucks. Can’t even combo after it on counter hit and it is barely airborne and you still get hit by lows with it. What is the point in this move? What am I missing?
Also, she seems pretty useless against someone who just spams st. jab. I tried it out in training and you can’t do any teleport shenanigans because they get stuffed by pretty much anything. Being thrown out of your ground pound is very fun

Lol… If they’re mashing jabs, why are you trying to Scramble in their face? Frame trap them, LP Stinger them, throw them… You seem to have a very one track mind when it comes to this. Don’t focus on what you want to do, focus on what you need to do.

LP stringer is strike invincible, very far from being safe

It’s not bad… It could be better, but maybe you just aren’t using it correctly. It’s not the braindead move people think it is.

what are you using for anti air if you dont have a charge?

i tried crHP but i traded too much, maybe i need to get the timing right

clMP looks fine as an anti crossup

If they are further away, st.hk, if they are close, cl.mp, if they are somewhere in between, either try cr.hp, backdash, or jump back hk.

Is there a known OS to go into hands if cr.mk hits? Or should I always go into light hands since its safe on block?

Or an option select for cr.mk?

If you are doing a normal into a special cancel, for any move for any character, and you know the normal is going to either hit or be blocked, then you should not do unsafe special moves willy nilly.

I guess HP hands it’s (only) good for counterpokes out of the opponent’s range, that’s already an OS when you buffer it.
Or to hitconfirm into super for max (chip) damage

If you are upclose you’re better off going with LP version everytime you need to use hands

Any good setup with Scramble > HP punch (teleport)?

It seems so slow to really be useful unless during the opponent’s wake up

Also, Guile can really zone me out so far… is hard to get in and keep pressure with Decapre…

Try using RES to get in when he starts a boom, then baiting flash kicks once he gets in.
