The first flick was so great and well-done, with nearly everything concluded. A nice 1-shot story and modern day classic. They should have let it be, instead of making a crappy sequel. I hope this one crashes & burns in the box office.
Well there’s one last comic. But with the movie bombing at the box-office, I think it’s safe to assume it won’t be happening.
2: Hit-Girl has her own comic before the third volume.
Kevin Smith should have played The Motherfucker’s fat sidekick…dude in the comic looked JUST like him.
Meh seen this today and thought it was a tad average. Mother Russia scene with the cops was awesome but outside of that the only thing keeping it together was hit girl story. Nothing on the first movie.
Creating the MotherFucker and assembling his league of super villains was the best part for me. So pretty much just the first half of the movie.
Saw it and thought it was bad. Mother Russia was good though.
They worked some of that in this movie though.
But yeah, again, bad reviews plus a terrible box office opening will pretty much sideline the last movie.
The movie only cost 24 million or so and with international sales and DVD sales it will more likely then not break even or make just a bit more.
I suspect a 3rd one will happen once DVD and international sales come in.
Stuff. Stuff is happening. Watching KA2 now…damn…if there was gonna be a third movie, they took out a heavy part of it with the mom thing in this one. Fuckin’ executive meddling.
Lets hope not. Remember the reason the first movie did as well, and achieved the DVD-sales following later, is because it was such a damn good movie. Unlike this piece of crap. I really hope there isn’t a 3rd movie, not the way things are going.
What a sorry ass trilogy that would be. Only the first movie is stellar, and the sequels are just cash-grab garbage.

You’re reaching Sai. I don’t wanna see a third movie either if they continue to water down he series so much. There’s plenty of superhero teen angst indie properties they could have grabbed if they wanted that.

I didn’t mind it, but it wasn’t as good as the original or the second really.
Thus is the curse of many a trilogy.
I think they could leave this series as is. A third movie would be just pouring it on too thick.
I finally saw the second on my way home from Tokyo and loved it. It really was pretty good. But they ended it where they could easily close the door.
i really didn’t like the way they ended this movie or the slight changes to the script throughout from the comic… That being said i think the movie overall was done well, i just wanted to see it a bit darker like the comics.
also given how the second movie ended so drastically different from the second book i’m not exactly sure how they would pull off a third/book.
