I use everything. Keys = WSAD directions, UIO,JKL for buttons. SFAC controller with a PS2 to USB converter, and my MAS stick with a PS2 to USB converter.
i use a pad and im proud of it!

yes. well when you’ve been playing on mame/kaillera for like 2+ years on the keyboard…its really simple to execute down forward and DP motions. the only thing that is actually hard to do on keyboard is 360 motion, and even that isn’t all hard. 720 on the other hand is very hard, but still possible.
now only if i could transfer my 2+years of keyboard sf’ing to my new stick, that would be great.
360s and 720s are easy, they become a mind over matter thing. Just think the directions you need to press in order, and do it. Like, tell yourself “hcb, then push up” becomes a very simple motion.

If you say so. I wanna see how well you execute hugo’s 360/720s on your keyboard. I’m pretty sure you’ll end up jumping a lot more than you actually pull off a 360. And not lets not even talk about being to do a standing 720.
Thats what I’m getting at when I say its easier to pull off the moves on a stick vs keyboard.
I prefer doing 360s and 720s during his dash, but standing is possible, 720s is far reaching though, even for a stick a standing 720 is completely skill based, aka how much that character is used; and I’m not much on Hugo personally.
The only major issue I’ve hit on keyboards is pressing more than 4 keys at once sometimes doesn’t work, but in 3s you rarely if ever do that type of thing.
Not your fault at all. its just normal for pads like sega saturn pad and SF anniversary to wear out over time.
i have to say when cps3 first got emulated i was using a keyboard and it was so EASY to parry. i was in heaven, ive never parried kens sa3. fun timess=

Keyboard is so damn easy… So long as you aren’t playing grapplers and stuff.
keyboard is easy for me because i’ve done it for so long, ever since sfa1 came out for pc, or even before then. it’s just not ideal for grappler characters… or for playing in an actual arcade…
my friends who try it agree that it’s weird but easier to parry.
