yeah, I saw Babybel do it and made a mental note. He also consistently DP’s people in the corner neutral jumping trying to clip you with a jump attack. I’ve tried to anticipate this and it’s helped my corner pressure. One DP, and people stay on the ground and have to guess between your throws and frame traps.
Babybel is pretty sick at punishes, got a lot of those from him.
can someone dissect this match for me. its been giving me nothing but trouble and i have no idea how to stop this. vs bison hurts my soul more in this game then sf4
I would say you respect him too much and as such you are being way too defensive.
Bison offense is very good and his defense is probably bottom 5 so you have to be the one who is on the offense as much as possible.
Watch out for dashes, jumps and anything like that, you can punish all of it, once you knock him down just stay on top of him, there is nothing he can do beside vreversal and super (careful when he has it). If he has no super just give him no respect.
For example if you punish one dash with TC1 xx hk.tatsu he will be almost in the corner and knocked down right in front of you. At this moment you have a very high chance to win if your pressure is good.
Basically in a nutshell, get ready for his main ways to get in and once you punish one of it with a knockdown stay on him like your life depends on it.

So here’s my initial list of how hard it is to play specific match ups. This is not an advantaged vs disadvantaged list, but rather which match ups are very difficult to play correctly.
Easy to play correctly: Ryu, Dhalsim, Laura, Fang, Zangief, Mika, Rashid
Moderately hard: Bison, Chun, Cammy, Alex, Nash, Karin
Hard to play against: Vega, Birdie
Edit: Karin was kidnapped by the tier monster, but has safely returned.

Interesting list. What about the Birdie match makes it hard?
I’m guessing the Vega match is under “hard” because you have to be so aggressive in that match. Might take some players out of their comfort zone.
Any suggestions against Mika and Alex?
The Nash matchup alone is enough to make me consider switching to Chun.
Put they ass in the corner. Just like most of the cast lol…Mika you can play a little more defensively I guess since your FB is actually good in this match up, punish her slide and jump ins, and watch for the charged HK and C.HP (I think it’s a roll forward with her shoulder) that’s spaced correctly because it functions the same way as a blocked charged drop kick.
Alex is a pretty good poker, so have to watch your stun damage and not go in with too much life loss. He’s new though, so just play good Alex players to get familiar with the match up.
Ken seems to have bad matchups left and right, but he performs so well in tourneys…even though the character selextion is small, but still is doing well. In top 8s or in finals. Is Ken still the aggressive SF4 Ken? In looking to go back into Ken as hes my favorite SF fighter, besides Chun Li, since SF vs Xmen. Yes thats when i first played Ken ever.
What bad match ups exactly? right now I’d say chun is difficult, but he does pretty well against the cast.
From what ive read it seems to say Birdie, Karin, Vega, Nash, not sure about Guile, ive never played against a FANG at all… pretty much the most played characters.
Kens normals and frame data are quite bad

Honestly Chun and Karin are pretty hard yes, at least for me. Rest is fine. Dunno about Guile yet.
