My go to v-trigger is any of the mediums minus standing medium kick into hadoken, v-trigger, stranding fierce, run cancel, crouch jab, light tatsu, MP DP, ex DP. Works anywhere on screen.
If I donāt have any ex meter after the vtrigger I do his target combo in MP DP into HP DP work anywhere on screen as well.
Ken is fun but I definitely like ruy better because I find it easier to hit confirm with ryu

c.mp after the S.HP run cancel is earlier than you think. itās like, after he takes two steps or moves both legs in the animation. you can do the jab links a bit later in the run, but the c.mp has to be cancelled early.
in general with cancels out of run, thereās an early/late timing on followups, the earlier one being somewhat tighter.

I had a good runā¦got to rank #10, owned a lot of newbies, owned some players thought there were good because they were high ranked in a beta lolā¦got owned by, no, didnāt really get owned, but loss to some rasheeds who knew what they were doing and mike a few times if I let her in. Ken feels great, everything I would have posted has beens stated. My favorite combo is probably linking from st.HP into run, it feels so so so good, and really feels like a staple of his game, I hope that isnāt aspect isnāt changed in future iterations.

Iām finding the run is more useful in situations like whiff punishing because if someone sticks out a bad button you can sweep > V-Skill for free offense. Also c.HP > V-Skill is fucking awesome against people who donāt want to stop jumping.
I donāt know why people are complaining about Ken, this character is really damn good.
You are looking at this from the wrong angle. Kenās movement is his poking game. Between the V-Skill and forward dash Ken can move in and out of ranges very quickly. He gets outpoked, but whiffing a poke against Ken gives him offense.
