this isn’t really an image but I found this snippit from IGN’s mailbag entertaining and I didn’t know where else I could post this.
Ok, lemme just start off by saying how stupid the characters guide is for SF4. Not only do you encourage spamming, and I quote: Learn to abuse it… (when talking about Balrog’s Buffalo Head move). That’s pathetic. You also encourage people to constantly use grabs as Zangief, which you can’t get past. That’s absolutley pathetic. Now, whenever I go only, all I face is spammers. The only thing people do now is plays as characters such as Balrog and Zangief and use the same cheap tactics that you suggested to use… thats complete bull****. Whoever wrote the characters guide must not have much skill at this game. Why don’t you get some skill and mix up your moves a bit, instead of abusing the same one over and over again.
Let me start by saying that I’m flattered. Not because you called me skilless and absolutely pathetic, but flattered because you credit me with indoctrinating all of the online Street Fighter IV community with my strategies. I wish I were that influential, but the truth is that the problem you’re having has been a problem ever since fighting games got seriously competitive.
The problem is that you’ve got some made-up code of honor that prevents you from indulging in tactics that you’ve deemed cheap, or requiring no skill and “absolutely pathetic.” If these tactics are so pathetic, then it shouldn’t take much effort from an expert like you to defeat them.
You can practice your “skills” in training mode all day, have timed all the combos perfectly, learned to use every move, and come up with a million different useless techniques, but it won’t help you get past the Sagat fighter that’s got great timing on his Tiger Shots and can consistently land his Ultra. What /will/ help you is changing your attitude about the game and about competitive playing.
I read /Domination 101/ by Seth Killian (then just an unofficial Street Fighter dork, now he’s official and works at Capcom) when I was in high school and it helped me a lot. Check out an archive of his articles here.
Another amateur-turned-pro Street Fighter know-it-all put together a similar written work, called /Playing to Win/, which I also suggest you read through
If you vehemently disagree with the text, then you’ve fallen into the typical rut of the scrub. Our resident Colin Moriarty is with you. Unfortunately for you and Colin, the best players in the world are not with you.

dude remove the img tags before you get an infraction, man it even tells you above the picture “don’t quote images”:shake::shake:
I was thinking this when I saw that post, but I am afraid it is NOT the joke.
I shook my head when I first saw he quoted the rule and still didn’t follow it. Last month membership, but dont knock him. At least he’s just laughing at a funny picture.
I’m surprised with the lack of Akuma Flowcharts. You know the douche bags that just run and fire ball you, fireball when jumping back and wait for their ultra and try endlessly to get it out =D
Go look somewhere in the first 10 pages. Don’t assume by last 2 or 3 pages.

We need a Seth flowchart now. All the scrubs are starting to get him.
I think it goes something like: Sonice boom, jump back fierce punch sonic boom, wall jump away repeat.
But then if you turtle as well it’s sonic boom, sonic boom, sonic boom, sonic boom then wither walljump > CR.FP > 1000 kick thing or teleport > fierce uppercut. I MEAN SERIOUSLY. Do they really think that teleport shit works offline?
