I was a bit harsh in that sentiment. Intelligent use of the Cracker Launcher is a dangerous tactic, especially in stages like Mushroomy Kingdom 1-2 with all sorts of obstacles that just get bulldozed. With that stage, overcoming the obstacles is just another thing that you need to do, and the Cracker Launcher gives me an edge every time I grab it on that stage.
Double post but it’s worth posting.
Keits, can you or anyone else tell me a reliable method of avoiding Lyndis? My girlfriend’s rather frustrated because whenever I summon Lyndis, her Dedede usually dies. Is she like a Dragoon, where you can spotdodge her?
Lyn is easy to dodge. What you do is count down a set amount of time (I forget how long) and that is when the slash happens. It’s not random at all. It gets more difficult when you’re being rushed down but any dodge or invincible move (ledge grabbing, final smash activation) works.
either you can pray to god that you can count the timing right, or just guess about when and keep doing rolling dodges cause they have the most invulnerability.
Ugh…you know what, Keits? I think you’re a great guy. I really do. You’ve pretty much done what legions of SWF representatives have tried to do with me and actually changed my mind. You’re helpful as shit, and you’ve opened my eyes into an exciting way to enjoy a game that was getting stale for me.
I want to let you know that I’m behind you 100%(no innuendo). If there’s anything I can do to help you out, don’t hesitate to ask.
The only help I need is for people in regions I cannot be at to run my all-brawl rules at locals, and if possible record it for youtube.
Just getting this in front of people is all that needs to happen. The people with minds of their own will see pretty quickly that it actually works this way. It helps if someone who plays it a lot is there and places well, to show what should and should not be done with many situations.
Before the all-brawl event at MN Meltdown, I told everyone to play hard, play to win, be cheap as possible, run away and stall if they thought it would get them the win, and ask me if they felt like any item/situation was unbeatable and id feed them information.
hmm maybe I should try playing some all brawl matches to get my interest back in the game. I like items off a lot but like I said in the other thread the items off = only way temporarily broke my caring about this game.
