Yeah, but unlike Ryu, Kazuya has one hell of a learning curve. I find Kazuya much more fun to play because the learning curve makes him very rewarding and satisfying to play as.

Also, Kazuya is so manly he doesn’t even need Bound for damage.

Oh my Jesus, 100 damage?! Wow, now I’ve really gotta master that EWGF because that’s basically all he does and that’s where all the damage comes from, lol.

I didn’t think five EWGF’s was even possible in one combo without a wall or breakable ground. If those were included, he’d probably be able to do like 15 EWGF’s in one combo, lol.

I think the thing with Kaz and EWGF is just knowning when to use/punish with it. A lot of people (and I was like this when I picked up Kaz seriously in 5.0) new to Tekken/Kaz think once they can do EWGF on a consistent basis = I can do anything. But I see someone learned already that Electrics don’t always mean easy win/guaranteed win.

if you want a godly WGF/EWGF, play Tag. you can just toss that out anytime and it’ll be safe.

Glad to see you learned this. It’s not brain dead like Sagat…]I played Mishimas for years and never got at that high level. Your execution has to be 100% AND you have to know how to make it work. It takes work unlike the top tiers of other games…

Damn, the EWGF is so deadly with the Mishima’s. I thought Kazuya could combo it the best but it seems like they could all do it just as well. I need to master the freakin’ 10 EWGF’s in a row, lol.

Actually I’ve blocked this move several times and the mid seems to come out every time. I think it’s been changed since DR (or 6.0 that I didn’t play). That’s why it’s so beastly online (and nowhere else).

Yes it doesn’t have hell sweep properties, but it can be punished with any 13f or maybe even 14f move after the mid

Also my friend doesnt have the component cables… So I may have to delay the combo challenge for now

Yeah, sorry about that, I just found out during a few casual matches that the whole u/f+4,4,4,4 string comes out when blocked. I must have been thinking of an older game or something.

I think Tag was the last game you could get hell sweeps off and still be safe on block. (I could be wrong. T3 might’ve been the last one.)

So Kaz players, getting rushed down sucks, whats a good defensive poke or general, “Get off me” move, or is it just, EWGF, cause thats a lil tough consistently.

Really depends who you are fighting

but here are some of your options…
if your opp is using unsafe moves 1,1,2
if he is playing safe rush down… you can b+1,2 to break in
for people who crouch… d/f+4,4 or 4,(delay)4
but you still have to be smart with it

Yeah, 1, 1, 2 seems fairly effective against rush it just has kind of a bad range it seems. I’m also kind of annoyed this character doesn’t have easy launchers for combos.
