the first one is like a safe jump cross up type set up i haven’t got a chance to check all the characters but i know sagat’s tiger uppercut whiffs and the second is a coner combo meter less that does around 450 damage

you gotta walk forward after the ground bounce
outside the corner you can forward dash after LP Slaughter House to get c.MP, c.HP to hit… i think this is easier then doing s.HP for the same dmg
The game will be released in my country tomorrow. I really hope they decide against changing anything about this character. He’s the most intereting fighting game character I’ve seen in 4 years now.
I’m at work and can’t test this out but from I’ve seen wouldn’t this be around Kazuyas best meterless midscreen combo??..
j.hk, s.hp, ewgf, ewgf, c.hp, slaughter hook, c.hp, 236 hp?? Will someone test this for me?? Can you do another ewgf after the slaughter hook? Don’t really know the juggle properties yet of everything either. I hate work!! Give me more training time!
mist step is weird but it’s early days, i’m sure i’ll just get used to it. i play on pad and i can do it pretty much at will from a standing position, but the trial where you have to do it after cr.hp was giving me nightmares.
cr.MP, st.FP xx LP Slaughterhouse whiffs on crouched
cr.MP, cr.HP does not since cr.HP forces stand up
the trick is to instantly hit c.MP after SH then follow-up with s.HP, if you do the c.MP as fast as possible then the s.HP is not so hard =]
But now that ive seen the dash c.mp, c.hp, i would just do that look way easier to time!
i just wanna say, for anyone struggling to do this with 100% consistency, this is the advice you should follow.
I feel you. Crouch dashing ( mist step) was always easier on pad. On stick Kazuya’s trial 13 is doin my head in! Cancelling into the Mist step from that damn crouching fierce!!! Good god, any tips? Been like 2 hours tho lol.
what I do is hold :df: (DF) while doing the crouching normal then go:f: :qcf: i just roll it from from forward to QCF really fast works for me anyways
is 13 the one with j.fp > cr.mp > mist step > uppercut?
what I did was qcf 2x really quick for it to come out.

For all the midscreen combos i used c.MK > (into whatever) you can substitute c.MK with s.HP but timing is a bit tighter so c.MK seems to just be the most reliable… Half-Ro mentioned in another thread that using c.HP > (into whatever) might be character specific so we’ll have to look into that

I’m a Tekken player, so EWGF is not a problem for me. This is my BNB~
j.RH, cr. mp, cr. hp, EWGF, EWGF, cr. mk, ex qcb lp+mp, cr. hp, EWGF
SF players might find it complicated, I’m landing it VERY consistently. It does super good amount of damage, and I tag into king after the last ewgf. hopkick, hopkick, cr. hp, shining wizard. does more than half life on the whole cast, pretty sweet.
If you can hit that consistently that’s awesome! Is this corner only?
This is midscreen, exact same combo works in the corner.
Also you get more damage out of a straight j.rh > st hp > ewgf, but this is a low / hit confirm and junk.
j.rh > st hp ~ 522
j.rh > cr mp > cr hp ~ 508
j.rh > cr mp > cr mk ~ 484
going into super after ex groundbounce ~ 632 / 582
also to note quickly, if you do ex ground bounce > cr hp super, it will not work.
It’s only because ewgf is good for combos that it works. you’d think super would have the same combo potential, lol

Does doing the Super Art after ex.SH do more ore less damage than your 3xEWGF combo.
