There are limits to trolling though. You play DFO so lets use that as an example.
Make a female character and make an account on a random DFO site with a female avatar. Use a lot of smilies/emoticons/etc. Tell everyone how awesome everyone is and how much you love everyone. Also let them know that you need help indirectly. Then watch everyone help you out, give you a ton of free stuff, etc.
Then there’s the “other” level of trolling. I can’t imagine (I don’t want to imagine) what a guy’s reaction might be if he thought his girlfriend was a girl but it was really a guy. This kind of trolling is wrong in my opinion.

I know that you’re someone who considers himself an integral part of this forum community, so how do you feel about players not being able to attend SBO while someone else is intentionally manipulating the community you care so much about (which I know you do by the posts you make such as when you were broke and down and had to sell all your stuff and required the support of this community) in order to get donations for a trip to SBO. Did you know that the year Sanford won the MvC2 EVO tournament and gave us those great SF4 matches he wasn’t going to go due to financial reasons? Instead of asking me if I care, perhaps you should question yourself.

i think you’re talking about “uncanny valley.” uncanny valley is the repulsion humans get towards something fake posing as real. if you’ve seen the new previews for TRON: Legacy, look at “young” Jeff Bridges. that’s uncanny valley. i don’t know if that applies to actual humans though. if “young” Jeff Bridges from TRON: Legacy was walking around and talking IRL, i’m pretty sure 90% of the population would be scared of him instantly.* non transgendered people observing transgendered people is wildly inconsistent. some TG/TS are obvious, some not so obvious, and some to the point where people just straight up say “i don’t care.” maybe it’s the “emotional version” of uncanny valley.
