If you admit that your reaction is entirely based on a lack of exposure, then I would say the more logical approach would be to try to overcome it. I mean, I’m sure there was a time when people were “weirded out” by interracial couples too (heck, I’m sure this is still common in some rural areas). The task is to acknowledge the bias and overcome it, not proudly spew that you find it creepy. The later approach only serves to further the bias.
