Kayo Police C.Viper cosplay

What can you say about karaface? Considering your experience, can you understand if she is a woman or a former man?

Honestly I think this answer is going to be different for everyone. If you go with the traditional sense of what a woman’s role is, if you never had the ability to birth a child you are not a woman. If you go solely with aesthetics then you will pick an choose who you consider a female. Not everyone arguing Kato or Karaface is a she will argue this person is a she (here is thevideo of the story and the beating). Some people will say attraction will make that person a he or a she (which appears to be the case in this thread with Kato), others will take the traditional equipment as a determining factor in the labeling of “he” or “she”.

Then again women can try to look at this more objectively…until a transgender person hits on your boyfriend (or vice versa) / try to use the ladies room apparently.

I meant in the biological sense of things.
That’s why I put “former man”.

What I believe doesn’t matter…it isn’t going to cause some wave of revolutionary thinking or sway the beliefs of others. All I can do is put information out there for others to digest and form their own opinion with some support behind it.
If we were less homophobic as a whole, what we call Kato would not matter.
Kato being called a he or a she would not be an insult if we did not make gender identity such a taboo subject.
If we were comfortable with who we are attracted to, then this conversation would not happen.

That is why I will refer to Kato as Kato and leave it at that…but I damn sure would not refer to Kato as a “former man”.

Just since you haven’t seemed to notice yet, her name is Satou Kayo, not Kato

Having a hard time picking which name to say…must deliberate and come back to this. Thank you for that.

I’m a little impressed by the depth of conversation on here. Certainly better than on the Evo stream; people were talking about Kayo for maybe an hour after she was finished with her game of SSFIV:AE on stream, obsessed.

I’m not personally attracted to Kayo though I hadn’t heard of her before knowing she was born male. If a guy’s attracted to Kayo isn’t that something different than being straight or gay. I can imagine people of any sexual preference could fancy Kayo, depends what you’re into I guess.

It would probably be better not to talk about it; only because Kayo’s just one of the Evo participants and no one’s been talking about her play just about gender and what not. Which is pretty irrelevant, and the obsession with it seems to add to the FGC’s insular nature. Everyone should be welcome, whatever they are; but hell, this is the internet.

If you don’t want to tell just say so, don’t write a philosophical WoT…

honestly its more of me not wanting to go through the mental debate…with myself.

as someone who was at evo and saw him

it gave me chills how creepy kayo police is

yuck

Kayo has less of a ball bulge than the actual SFIV C.Viper model.

o.O

My brother

WOULD.

In all seriousness, I don’t see what the issue is. Gay, straight, transgendered, whatever. These are ultimately adjectives. The noun’s “person” and you should treat everyone as such. Be an adult. Christ.

Moreover, there seems to be a peculiar, rigid take on sexuality in this thread which strikes me as odd. Beyond the grey area, someone who is solely attracted to one sex finding one person of the other doesn’t change their orientation. Example for clarity, a gay male who finds one woman he likes doesn’t make him a straight or bisexual male, just that there’s a particular woman out there who is an exception. This isn’t poker, you don’t go all-in on everything. Life’s seldom that easy. If you’re straight you’re entire life, find one guy you’re attracted to, and realize there are no others, then you have a homosexual attraction. It applies in many ways. That’s really it.

Kayo’s done her best to be the person she feels she is, and so far has seemed largely accepted by it. She does a good job at it, to be sure. If Aris approves, who am I to disagree?

this thread went from funny to serious to soon-to-be dead…just like all other kayo police threads and future one’s

I cant wait unitl Rayo detective and Mayo fire department join the fight scene…

What are you talking about, those are the academic definitions of the words. Sex refers to the actual sex organs that a person has and gender refers to the role they take whether that be feminine or masculine. That’s fact, plus if you even read my post I said that Kayo is a she. I agreed with you, so try to actually read my post.

Perhaps the thread should be expanded to her Tekken cosplay from Day 2 as well? There’s really not much else to speak of regarding the original subject.

I’m 95% sure that this thread is just trolls trolling trolls now, so I’m going to go ahead and say that Kayo looked a bit rusty in both games, as she was dropping combos I’ve seen her hit consistently before and it was a bit disappointing. No matter how much Aris wanted to call them resets. :stuck_out_tongue:

whether it has a dick or not, or whether it has a pussy or not does not make a person female or male. You can’t change the biological definition of a what is a male or female because you feel like the opposite. If it has an XY chromosome, I don’t give a damn if it has the most perfect tits or vagina ever. He is still a man. You can’t change definition because you want to be politically correct or its rude.

Now, what I want to know is why this is such a big deal.

I’m sure glad you’re up to date on biological and psychological definitions, otherwise the thread might have died a peaceful death.

There’s already 80 million posts (approximately) about how sex and gender are different things, you can’t use one to assume the other 100% of the time. People like you making the mistake of assuming the two are related 100% of the time is the reason why this is a big deal, because its flat-out wrong. Now, there’s a lot of people still ignorant on this topic, since its relatively new of an idea, and the media doesn’t like to spread news that tells people to be tolerant of other people, so its okay that you didn’t know.

I don’t care if there are a billion post op people. you can’t change the definiton of what a man is and isn’t. A dick doesn’t make a man. fucking a woman doesn’t make you a man. Being tough doesn’t make you a man. having a vagina and tits doesn’t make you a woman. Caring and being in touch with your emotions doesn’t make you a woman.

Kayo can’t pop kids, isn’t built like a woman, and doesnt have the biological components of a woman. He is a man.

Now you assuming im not tolerant shows how backwards you are and how stupid the proggressive side of this argument is. You assume that because i refuse to call him a she, im intolerant. I don’t care if he like to shove things up his ass, it is a man, and if he decides to call himself a woman so be it. But he isn’t. the facts are there, and you can’t change the definitions because you feel like being nice. He is a man, who likes to call himself a she. I fine with that and accept it, but it doens’t make it true.
