BenLee: Ill send you a pm with the bracket software etc. It has double elim brackets where you just click a number and it draws up a proper bracket no matter the #. It also has single elim brackets up to 64 players. You can use the online version or just download the thing to your comp and run it from there.
What ben said about Cammy vs Sagat is correct. THe match is about 50/50 it really depends on the grooves, how much life each player has coming in and the player themselves. I think Sagat has more room for error in that match then Cammy does.
BTW when you guys post chars etc, try to label grooves playing Cammy in C and K are totally different. Similar on basic levels but when it comes to rushing the game changes drastically.
I wouldn’t recommend JPG to anyone, though… you can get a custom stick a lot cheaper from others, and you can buy a store bought stick that performs the same for cheaper.

Yup edge goes to sagat… definately. Ummm… brackets is how tournaments are normally ran…run…awww…ya know what i mean. If there is a tourney in July I may be there…
The next tourny is june 23 me and shawn are working on some new ideas not finishd yet but something like a live system like lets say we have 9 lives each thats 9 characters you have to pick 9 different characters every time one of your characters loses you lose a life and cannot pick that character again reason for the idea is it forces people to pick other characters + it just seems like a good idea to us…its un finished but thats the general idea

i tend to play at your level one day but as of right now im not even close i’ll keep practicing what you matt ryan and ducky told me so i can get to your level of cvs2. its good that we are learning new characters but i also want to get good at one team. i dont think earl and shawns idea is scrubtastic at all. i think its a good idea to get people to learn new characters. its a little weird i must admit but if shawn and earl think it all out i’m sure its gonna be one awesome tourney. my tourney thats gonna happen next month is gonna have the same system that the rest of the world uses, so i know i will get the best of everyone. im still getting used to hitting the links hopefully soon it will become second nature. thanks for the tips man peace :karate:
Well so any of you know if you can hold a regular tourney sometime in July? I mean i’ll prolly be there sometime that month but i’ll know for sure once my training courses are done. Although… i would want to play on regular tournament standards. Let’s see how good you get… i’m not the best out of team blunt or oahu for that matter but we’ll see. Heh, I’m rusty!
bout the tourny commin up ben, I was thinking that it could be used as a preliminary ranking, so we can get our seeds ranked. After that tourny, lets hold a round-robin style tourny to settle our ranking system for the july tourny. As for earls tourny… shit, I have NO idea who to use other then my main charicters (cammy, haohmaru, morrigan and hibiki). I’ll have to think bout it and practice.
Great. So you’ll be in tip top shape to fly down to Oahu that weekend (22nd and 23rd) and fight some A groove while I'm there. If you intend to attend Evolution, I highly recommend you stop by Oahu that weekend since most of the other players will come out of the woodwork to play me also and you’ll be able to play a number of different people.
