Spoiler
I completed Emi route this morning and I don’t recall her not being a Virgin. Then again, I don’t remember it ever being an issue in her route.

Oh Rin route, why are you so good? Went and got the neutral ending. I now have 2 holes in my chest.
She isn’t, but like you said, it’s not an issue.
I want you to read this, and then hold your ignorance, I want you to hold it to your chest, then kiss it goodnight, and stuff it under your pillow for slumber.
They don’t expressly say it, but it is made pretty clear at the end of the shed scene. Hisao didn’t freak out but the response made it pretty obvious it threw him for a loop.
Apparently Misha’s original reason for being sent to the school was because she is a lesbian. She also came from a high class background, and her parents wanted to make her disappear as they wouldn’t tolerate her daughter being a lesbian. They eventually changed this because they thought it was incredibly stupid, they were right.
The old uniform designed by kekekeke kinda gave me the Maria-sama ga Miteru feel… they were pretty nice to be honest.
Also, Yuuko possibly dating Kenji is something that they should’ve gone into a bit more in Kenji’s “route”. It’s something that they hinted at many times but nothing really solid.
LOL what?
Misha being a lesbian would explain why she has no route.
Yuuko was the chick Kenji used to date? I figured it was some chick from his classes as they mentioned her being blind or having a hard time seeing.
What hints lead to Yuuko?
Misha is more bi than lesbian. She is 18, almost every “lesbian” at that age swings both ways. Shizune arc being the proof.
Yeah, but she doesn’t have a disability listed in the later class art and such (and Shizune’s route basically confirms that she isn’t a lesbian, just bi). Lelouch was also changed to some random kid, who apparently doesn’t have a name or a disability listed (though I don’t see why they wouldn’t just keep the disability). Everyone else is accounted for though.
Yuuko says it’s a younger guy (Kenji is 20, he would have been 19 at the time?)
Yuuko’s age is unknown but she’s not too old seeing as she’s still a university student.
She also didn’t know the guy she was dating was younger than her, until later.
Kenji steals books from the library (instead of checking them out, which would involve talking to Yuuko). He claims to be liberating them form the feminists.
Both Kenji and Yuuko are interested in cryptology (she mentions this when the books are stolen at one point, Kenji brings up the cryptology books), which is interesting when you look at Kenji’s conspiracies. Then Yuuko has her own yamaku cat burglar episode.
Yuuko mentions being bad at relationships and that the guy she dated never talked to her again.
Kenji mentions that he realized the whole feminist thing after having sex, which would explain why Yuuko thinks she’s bad at relationships. Kenji hit it and quit it basically, probably without realizing it too.
When Kenji goes to the library he purposely avoids being seen by anyone, except for Hisao.
They both wear glasses!
So, is Kenji coming up with the whole conspiracy aspect thing as a distraction from simply being scared and heartbroken? Maybe feeling insecure? Makes some sense. Like I said, the game doesn’t really offer anything more solid than hints. The devs also apparently said that this isn’t true, but they’re just lying. Besides, what do they know?
Rin: The problem must be in your pants.
After doing Lilly’s route none of the other girls really did anything for me.
Must be because I’m a sucker for dat Ojousama.
I fucking knew it.
Lilly was actually by far the most adventurous of all the chicks which is probably what made her story one of the best.
Well his girlfriend was at Yamaku and I don’t think Yuuko ever went to Yamaku so even though the age’s do matchup not convinced those fit together.
The chick was most definitely had a hard time seeing as Kenji mentioned that but whether she was blind or near-blind I don’t think he made the distinction.
I figured Kenji probably stunk in the sack his first time (pretty normal occurence for most guys the first time) and got all self-conscious thus started hating women. Chick might have said some shit to spur that on. Way he acts I wouldn’t be surprised if she left him and all that feminist shit is just a front for his pain so he says he hit it and quit it but given Kenji’s propensity to make shit up that’s hardly proof that is the truth.
Don’t think theirs a way to prove who it is, but Kenji’s obviously still hurt by it given his “ending”
I just got the bad end of Rin route. This route has been mindfucking me the entire time I been playing it. I’m just as lost as Hiaso. Have no clue how she thinks, every choice that comes up doesn’t feel like the right one, and generally it feels a huge waste of time. God this is depressing.
Isn’t it great?
Now go get that good ending!
Also, her route is pretty complex. Is has a lot of choices, and some of those choices end up triggering different dialogue trees (though they will all lead to the same endings), but they provide a few different points of view, which tells you how Hisao is approaching the situation basically. Most of the other routes don’t have anywhere near as many different variations, even if they are pretty minor overall.
So I got the good ending for Rin. Her route filled me with frustration and confusion. Other than not being able to convey her feeling through words [details=Spoiler]and possibly suffering from some sort of identify crisis and opposites attract[/details] I didn’t get much of out of it. Hisao is a better man than me because I doubt I would put up with any of it.
I think the part I enjoyed most about this game is how unabashedly true all these separate personalities are. The game pulls no punches and doesn’t dues ex machina anybody just for the sake of having a relationship with them. Every person really has their own mindset and how they view their world.
I really learned a lot. About myself as well.
To be honest, I feel like most VNs, they actually make you reflect on who you are as a person as a whole. I really enjoy the concept of reading a VN and making choices that I’m pretty sure that we all had or have to make in our lives.
Especially KS. This shows that it’s not the disability that makes them, it’s the person overall and how you have to look past that and love them as who they are, and not just to look on the surface. In which in the society today, still looks at the disability that people have, not the abilities that have within them.
But, then again, I’ve been playing too many VNs…
I just finished it for the first time, I intended to start with Hanako but I ended up with Emi’s route. The sex scenes seemed really out of place, at least the earlier ones, but it was pretty decent I suppose.
I don’t really like Shizune, I will probably do her route last if at all
If you feel that way, than dont put yourself through it. It isn’t satisfying at all, and if you’re anything like I am (I tried to start with Hanako and got Emi too, so I think you might be) its just going to frustrate and/or bore the hell out of you.
That’s because like Hisao, you were looking at Rin wrong. Hisao being the man of logic and science, was trying to make shit logical. He was going about it the wrong way though.
Emi and Rin route spoilers
[details=Spoiler]
In Emi’s route he has this exact same problem but has someone there to give him a hint. In Rin’s route he doesn’t realize that she’s basically quantum physics in human form (in terms of how our logic and physics behave when compared to quantum stuff), and that she didn’t need to follow the same rules and logic that everyone else followed in order to make sense. He compares her to a puzzle, but she didn’t need solving despite him trying to. He was trying to stick pieces together into a puzzle that was already solved. It didn’t help that she was basically pouring out her soul into her paintings and that he didn’t understand them (mainly because he chose not to, even if you go down the Art path), despite there being at least one painting that could have been interpreted as Rin feeling the same exact way that he does.[/details]
Damnit Hisao, why so oblivious? Rin route spoiler stuff
[details=Spoiler]
Picture on the right. Hell, even the picture on the left works too for when she went to kiss him and he stopped her by putting his hand in between.
Hisao’s speech after the gallery fiasco.[/details]
Fucking Hisao, it was right there in front of you… all the answers you were looking for! >:(
And yes, I really like this route. I’ve played it 3 times already. Still can’t bring myself to do Hanako’s neutral and bad endings. I don’t have the heart for that (no pun intended).
