I was just testing stuff and the quick version of the launcher, when combo’d to v-skill, sets up a safe jump on a regular quick stand, but not when you use the late canceled launcher.
yea thats been around for a while. Only works on standing though. Overall karin gets pretty decent damage from most confirms. Easy 200+.

Just a correction, but I don’t think you’re brother is right about that because c.lk is -1 on hit. From what I understand from frame data, it couldn’t even work as a CH link. It’s +4 CH and c.mp comes out in 5 frames. Honestly, Karin’s frame data is horrible in A3 but it works for whatever reason lol. It seems she has a lot more + on hit/block normals in SFV which is truly great.
Situational but probably practical combo #1:
s.HP(blocked) xx qcf+K~d.P (trade), c.MK xx qcf+K~P, v-skill. 235dmg, 390stun.
This doesn’t work if you catch a CH either; con only be done on a trade with shoulder. I feel like it’ll be fairly practical if you go for shoulder to be safe on block.
Another note, shoulder comes out really slow. Feels like c.MK xx dash shoulder can be jab mashed out of everytime. Dunno if someone would be able to actually jab it everytime on seeing the c.MK. However if they are even a fraction late, then they could eat a shoulder trade, which as we know could be pretty devastating
3bar crush counter: s.HK, ex tenko x2, walk forward ex ressenha. Only does 5 more dmg than raw super but 400 more stun.
cMK has very low blockstun compared to get medium punches, does not blockstring well at all.
qcb+LK is -3 on block. Can punish with 3f jabs but not 4f. Karin has kind of a hard time punishing it though if its blocked at range (say c.LK, c.LP xx qcb+LK). Even though she can punish it up close, it wont punish in that situation, even though the c.LP reaches. Only explanation is that the 2nd active frame is connecting instead of the first.
Ah ok. Well now he says he was actually talking about something he saw in a trailer for SFV, but yeah she can’t do that now.
Oh and she actually has a different vocal for the just frame command dash punch. HIYYYA

Metering your combos (outside of adding an EX RP in the corner after a launcher -> special juggle) doesn’t seem to be worth it unless you want the corner carry from EX Upkicks or are blowing a CA. Always do the RP combo if they’re standing as it knocks them down at your feet. Just Frame Launcher adds 20 prescaled damage, so 18 after 1 hit, 16 after 2, etc.

Saw this one guy do a corner combo with one EX meter. c.MP, c.MK, launcher, LK mujinkyaku, EX mujinkyaku
Also, totally worth blowing a bar in the corner for Launcher -> V Skill/LK Upkicks -> EX RP

Also ive never seen it before so imma post it since i didn’t think it was possible; but you can do the super after a v-skill juggle. I always thoght it was just LK upkicks.This is nice since LK upkicks can miss sometimes.
Can anyone get a s.HK crush counter combo from far? I have no clue what to do. Even doing CC s.HK from point blank is a pain in the ass to combo. I found point blank CC s.HK, walk up s.HP xx qcf+LK~P, v-skill.
The only thing ive found from far is that you can OS a s.HK crush counter into v-trigger. Since the CC animation has greater hitstop, it gives you a bit more time to cancel stuff, so you can OS between CH and non-CH.
s.HK into OS VT, dash s.HP xx qcf+K~P, qcf+P~P
My finger hurts from all these JF Dashes. Going to have to put her down for a while.
So what’s your plan after a CCH? It’s really tight to land the st.hp and I’d like something more reliable (non-metered if possible)
JF dash~p jugglr into dash~d+p works but the timing is pretty tight, I think it’s best damage meterless at midscreen.
