at 0:28 the karin knocks down Necalli and then do qcfP~d.K without the elbow even though the movelist posted doesn’t indicate she can do that. Maybe just a movelist print error? So she can do all options from qcfP AND qcfP~d.P then?
Wake up and saw this. This is a great way to start the day. Love how she looks like an adult. Capcom should have done this with Sakura in SFIV. I know I’m gonna suck ass with Karin but she will be one of my subs.
Absolutely loving her stage. I don’t think it’s getting enough praise.
fresh prince already terrified something might be unsafe on block lol
:x
I’m traumatized mayne.
Does her face look mad weird to anyone else?
Unfinished model most lilkely

Definitely the best stage so far in every way. The music is really nice. Can’t wait to see the additional areas in it.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Can say I was pleasantly surprised on seeing the announcement.

Should be in the OP
Sorry mate but that stuff is weak. Here is how they used to do it back in the old days:

As a general rule, if anything in your house made of crystal isn’t vibrating, the laugh is disqualified.
Her face looks fine. Ken on the other hand still has the worst looking mug.

Well qcfP~d.P doesn’t even combo so i imagine on block it will be your frametrap tool. No idea what that is on block if you dont continue the followup though. The safer option will obviously be to backstep out of range.
Aside from that one angle (victory screen, was it?) I haven’t really noticed major issues with her face, certainly not on the level of some previous models. It actually looks nice in a lot of screenshots.

Still up in the air. For the purposes of the developing list in the OP I’m assuming the movelist image is accurate until proven wrong, like it was on d+K ender. Granted listing the same move twice would be a bit overkill considering how many are already there.
R-D: TheFreshPrince: Darklightjg1:I notice the backdash cancel takes significantly more v-trigger gauge than other followups to Guren Ken, so being more offensive will give more time overall in v-trigger than baiting, but the payoff on a successful bait should be way more damage/a crush counter punish.
This worries me for two reasons
1: This means that VT rekkas are at least somewhat unsafe, and if they are, how unsafe are they?
2: How good is her sway to warrant the extra VT meter? If the rekkas are only mildly unsafe, then there really isn’t a reason to use it.
Basically, just the inclusion of a sway means that her Rekkas aren’t very good on block even in VT. This is a problem, because of I want to be safe after a rekka, I now have to spend even more of my limited resources. If the rekkas aren’t unsafe, then sway is effectively useless, unless there only thing that can punish you is like a command grab, which would make it’s use matchup dependant.
Atm it seems that VT is pretty easy to build with her, so maybe these things are acceptable (though still stupid imo since VT is supposed to make you really strong), but they seem like they want to nerf the VT gain on VS that are actually reliable to use, so I’m cautiously pessimistic right now.
It seems like 1 hit of the rekka is pretty safe. But it’s still going to be negative, and there will be a gap between the first hit and the overhead.
So I would guess it serves the same purpose as the counter theoretically did, except actually safer. If the opponent expects backdash and doesn’t press anything that might get them caught, you have an opening to stop after 1 and restart your pressure. “Do nothing -> keep pressuring” and “backdash -> whiff punish” play off each other.
Also reversals, as was said.
I don’t have a problem with it being slightly negative, as I think most rekkas are on block. I just don’t want it to be punishable on block is all, considering they require the use of an expendable, time-limited resource. If they are punishable, the second string should be a delayable, fast attack that can be used for frame traps. If neither of those are the case, her sway should at least cost the same amount of matter as everything else, since while safer than her old counter, it doesn’t actually scare the opponent from throwing out a jab or fast medium normal.
Well, I mean, it was never punished in the videos, and it looked like people tried. That’s not anything conclusive of course.
I must admit though that the meter spent on the backstep is pretty crazy, like 30%+
Is it just me or did they give her stuff from Ingrid? One, her pants (although they aren’t the same color, the combination of skirt+pants is definitely Ingrid style) and two, her move where she spins around and kicks the opponent.
Two more. Apologies in advance.
Rich laughter at your expense since 1998.
An elegant beatdown for a more civilized age.

Not sure which move you’re talking about, but she always had moves that sound like that on her st.RH and overhead command normal.

She has those moves in Alpha 3. Those are tights not pants.
0:25-0:26 in this video:
I don’t think she had that move in A3 and Ingrid definitely has that move:
If he’s talking about EX upkicks I can kinda see where he’s coming from though.
