Actually, it’s only being marketed as “The Karate Kid” in America. Everywhere else that it is being released at it’s called Kung Fu Kid.
I read that even the actors and crew just call it Kung Fu Kid. Freakin America… you would think it’s not like the early 90’s anymore. Saying Ryu has a “kung fu” grip and that Chun-Li is a ninja… >_>
The trailer looks fantastic. Fuck the haters. Mind you, I went in expecting a gigantic pile of shit but Jackie Chan is so beautiful fluid even in that little scene fighting the kids and will smith’s child’s acting isn’t half bad either. Its an interesting point of view for the whole thing.
