I was thinkin more along the lines of for a re imagining. Chans getting old, and he has enough charisma, star power, and shit to back it up. He could make a cool Miyagi like figure. But hey, I’d rather they didn’t make this shit at all.
maybe if they show a grown up Ralph Macchio, who has a kid who is getting bullied and school at Daniel teaches him karate, and they show him visiting miyagi’s grave site…
or Johnny has a son thats being bullied by Daniel’s son at school…

what would I like to see in a remake?, nothing, a direct sequel would be better.
but a sequel that’s better than “The Next Karate Kid”. It’s not like any of the guys from the first one are doing anything.
