Well the thing is that said reaction was extremely delayed. It’s not that I’m so surprised that it happened, it’s the timing. She had her big fame on Nickelodeon then a bit elsewhere, fell off the grid for a while but showed up for Easy A and looked completely sane. A couple years after that, THEN went insane. I’m just wondering what the fuck was the real catalyst.
The problem is that tabloids pay big bucks for pictures of celebrities, so it’s incentive for any dickweed with a camera and no job to go out and start snapping whatever pics they can. I think celebrities SHOULD be allowed to assault someone who tries to take their picture like this because at the very least, it gives the paparazzi fair warning that an ass kicking could be in their future.
I like Kanye, but I don’t think he necessarily has the best relationship with fame.
TMZ reported that he wont be charged with anything. He’s just gonna give up some cash like we all thought.
As far as Amanda Bynes goes, personally i think this is all just a stunt to keep her name relevant. Keep in mind her and Waka have been saying that they’re working on her album together which is a recipe for a disaster itself.
I don’t know how much sense this makes. That’s a pretty fucked up way to stay relevant. There are lots of other ways to get some news attention WITHOUT SETTING PROPERTY ON FIRE. What kind of shit is that? This is something that mutants who are just discovering their powers do, not something that someone who wants to get hired does.
Her “Ask Ashley” skit was quite funny, she was very good on All That and The Amanda Show overall. But now that you mention it, part of her “act” could be attributed to some kind of mental malady like bipolar disorder. She might be fully unmedicated now that she’s not living with her parents.
If Kanye wasn’t going full retard and grabbing mics in the middle of acceptance speeches, maybe I’d have pity on him. He’s an attention whore just like his baby mama, just a different M.O. Kanye’s only saving grace is that he actually has [producing] talent.
Could be, all I know is that her drama probably isn’t likely to end anytime soon, she and her parents are fighting for control of her stuff and she sounds full on crazy so who knows how this will end.
If you’re out in public, you have no right to privacy when someone wants to take your picture. That goes even lower when you want to be a public figure.
That can be legally challenged as sexual assault or some shit, I forget. There were cases like this in New York or New Jersey where guys wore mirrors on their shoes to look up skirts. Same with men who carry video cameras hidden in shopping bags and do upskirt shots. But if you’re just out and about and someone wants to take a photo of you, you have no legal recourse because you’re in public.
Don’t want your photo taken, there are two things you can do: don’t be famous because you’ll now be thought of as a public figure and thus you begrudgingly agree for all this (tough shit, it’s how it’s always been in this country) or stay inside. Choice is yours.
