I couldn’t make it, my family didnt start dinner till late. I have been getting a little more practice with Nu. Now if I could keep the combos going with her swords all the time it would improve my win percentage greatly.
I might pick up Hakumen as well that guy hits hard.
John I wouldn’t worry about you not practicing while your there so when you come back I hope to see some good things out of your Ragna or Bang or whoever it is your gonna main.

After playing Le, Allen, and Weeks, I know all too well about Nu combos. Trying to ride out the sword onslaught until Nu fucks up is no fun at all.
As an Arakune player, it is satisfying when you finally lock her ass in the corner and bring the swarm, at least until you get bursted and have to start all over again :mad:
So after an evening with the fam, watching fireworks, doing all the standard 4th of july stuff, how did Beth and I spend our post-4th evening? Over a romantic session of combo practice of course. Beth seems pretty smitten with Blaz, and she practiced for hours on end with Tao tonight. She would NOT give me back the controller until she got some decent combos, and movement down pat. It was pretty shocking, considering I’ve never sat down with a ladyfriend at a game and had them play for more than 2 minutes, get frustrated, and go do something else. Interesting… we’ll see if it sticks.
That said, when I finally got my pad back, I practiced with Ragna like it meant I would get utterly raped when I get home, if I didn’t (it did mean that) and I am right at home with him. I’ve even been crafting some homemade combos and crossups. Should be an interesting couple of days from here on (when I get time to play, that is.)

Gg?s all around Friday night. Finally got a chance to play BB and I must say, I?m impressed. I like how the ?Combo breaker? move(is it B+D?) gives you a slight chance to get out of a rush down. Feels like I have more of a fighting chance. The system feels a tad less clunky than GG, which is also a plus. I might just pick up the game later on down the road. However, I gotta save my funding for KoF12 and a stick. Funding is almost there for my stick? Just gotta wait a few weeks.

I dont have to many problems with rush downs in the corner. Usually a throw with Nu ends up being a nice combo.
Luigi I need some practice on SFIV if your up to it. I am very crappy at links, I cant seem to find the right rhythm to the presses. I think if I get that down I should be pretty well off for my Sagat.
