Yo! Anyone want to meet up and play Marvel next weekend? I want to get some last minute practice with players outside Wichita before CEO.

do u guys have a venue for weekends or does someone host?
kaze-kami - I usually host Saturdays at my apartment in Overland Park. Its usually allot of KoF since thats what my hookups focus on. We do however get allot of players that play multiple games and as long as you ask people will usually play whatever. My hookups are all BYOC so you can play whatever you want as long as you bring your own set up. Also Dan usually host Sundays at Next Door Pizza in Lee’s Summit.

Not entirely sure how far out this is for most of you guys but I figured I’d extend it to you all anyway.
***** Lincoln FGC Monthly Tournament** ***
When: Saturday, July 14th, signup begins at 1:00 pm, first tournament starts at 1:30. You are free to arrive sooner. SCV and AE will both begin at 1:30, Marvel will begin whenever AE finishes.
Where: **Heidelberg’s Sports Bar **1601 Normandy Court Lincoln, NE 68512. It’s just off of 16th and Old Cheney Road. just google maps that shit
How Much: $10 for each tournament. The first person to arrive with a PS3, two controllers, and SCV, and the first three people to arrive with a 360 with either Marvel or AE will have $10 off. Each system must have most up-to-date patches for respective games.
Payout: Each tournament is $50 for first place plus 60% of the pot, second place is $10 plus 40% of the pot.
**Last time, some people left without paying their bill. This was an innocent mistake because people were moving around so much and there was confusion with the bar staff. Because of this, the bar may ask to keep your card/ID if you order. ** Make sure you pay for your food and drinks, people!
It’s nothing huge, just a monthly, but I was curious to see if people from out of state would come up to play some games, if so I’m sure we’d find a way to do the same if you guys dropped some early info on a tourney down there! hope to see some of you guys there.

Yo it seems like Gabby wants to host this Friday since John is in his break period. So that said hookup Friday and Saturday starting at 8. If people just want to stay the night Friday and play games all day then maybe we should arrange some kinda training camp for the guys going to EVO then. Suggestions?
