Well…if you lvl up, so does the game…makes it quite different from other RPGs.(Only other i remeber doing this is Lunar silver star). So leveling up actualy makes enemies tougher, gaurds are usualy a few lvls up no matter what. I think my guy was just pimpin cuz of all the Imperial Guard gear, my sword is one handed and hits for 5 damage.
As for crazy random comments, i was talking to this shop/inn keeper and out of nowhere, she asks me if I know what the penalty for necrophilia is…i say, “is it the first offense?” and she replies “lets say, no”. i was so high i couldnt believe she asked me that.
I ended up giving up, bad idea…hella jail time, mad stat loss. No more crime for me now
After getting out of jail, a NPC that was questing with me walks up and asks me to continue hunting mountain lions with him, so i begin to follow. Literaly a half hour later i realize were still no where near the right city(do’h) he just shows up outside whatever jail you go to.
As for 40 as a bounty??? I read a crime and punishment FAQ, thats the payment for ONE assault, every MURDER muahahaha is another grand, did you realy kill guards and not get charged??
Very funny Chaz. I wouldn’t be taking any chances on that one. I’m going to try and give it to Best Buy if someone doesn’t want to buy it. Just return it and eat 8 dollars and hope they take it. If not, it’s good for a Christmas present if anyone wants to buy it tomorrow. Anyway though, I’m going to Powerplay now, see ya guys up there.
Usually I would. Unfortunetely, I would have to sell it for about 600 on Ebay. That is taking a risk. This is because Paypal takes 4 percent and Ebay takes 4 percent roughly. Then I have to pay to ship it too. Anyway, good matches tonight. I didn’t win any, but still fun.
Yeah, I know they level up with you, but you do level up a bit faster and the ability to take hits is HELLA important. My character couldn’t take many hits from anybody. where as now, leveled up and even though they leveled up too I can take far more hits from them, not to mention time played means more time gaining magic that I didn’t have before and tons more potions and poisons to help in my battles.
And yes I had a 40 bounty even after killing people. The key is not getting caught. The very first person I murdered in cold blood I had no bounty at all because I didn’t get caught. And I don’t mean I ran away, I mean no one knew that I killed them. And I can’t stress enough that being in the thieves’ guild is of utmost importance. Just today I had a mission where I basically had to go kill an entire town of people. (Yeah, you read that right a WHOLE town, I think I left like 1 person alive there). Most of them attacked me first so that wasn’t a problem, but at least three people were being ass holes so I attacked them first and murdered them. Apparently two of them managed to get a call out and by the time I left that town I had a 2200ish bounty. I accidentally ran into a guard up in Chorrol, but I had no intention of losing all the skills I built up, so jail was out, I also had a fortune in stolen goods that I had no intention of losing, so pay fine was out (not to mention the sick amount it would have cost me). So I resisted arrest, killed that guard and the bounty didn’t go up again. So I saved real quick, quick traveled to a totally different city and was arrested on sight! I was like WTF. I jumped back to the save point and went directly to my thieves’ guild person and got my bounty removed for half the price. No jail time, no lost levels, no ridiculous amount of money spent, and I kept all my stolen goods.
And yeah I ran into that bitch with the necrophilia comment, I had forgotten all about that.
**For those of you not reading everything… Above, there was an Oblivion Report hidden in there.
Lol, that’s truly what I did. I called work and arranged for extra hours, then told everyone that I had been called in to work.
**Ok, does anyone know of any cheap cars that are running fine in the area for sale?
**
Mine died (blew a piston/valve) and it’s not likely worth it to fix, what with having to rebuild the head, and if it’s the lower part, then likely an entirely new engine…
Does it meet the hype, or am I better off sticking with Call of Duty 3 and GEAAAARS (which I should play more, but I always wind up on HF online when my XBL clan/cult isn’t online to play.)
Also, post timer’s reduced to 60 seconds guys. Don’t hold back now. Really.
IMO it meets the hype, the multiplayer is fun as hell, I played both this and Gears for the first time the other night (Afro got 360 for christmas) and I am in love with Lost Planet. I love the weapons, love the mechs, appears to be really balanced. Played it all night and that’s with only one map available on the demo. The swingline rocks, the graphics and effects rock. It feels like there’s a lot of things to do or tactics to use. I really, really like the weapons.
Ok, so my b-day is the Saturday after this one and I can’t make it up to Powerplay most likely for it. Would anyone be able to come to Powerplay during the week? Say Thursday night? It would be cool if a lot of people came.
