Good Games this weekend…I sure did alot of slash playing…learned a good deal of stuff…good games on 3s and CvS2 and MvC2…maybe next time we can have more ppl so i can whooop more asses… hehe j/k… still trying on MvC2 i’ll get there slowoly but surely… Anyway just wanted to thank Trey for having my friend Jason and myself over for the weekend…good times good times… BROKE 5 BROKE…WE AINT GOT IT!!!.. lol inside Joke Trey knows :)… hopefully i can bring Jason again next time…if his wife will let me that is lol… Well take care all once again good games this weekend… Peace

What time do you guys play? I’m thinking about making a trip up to KC today. I totally suck at everything but I picked up SF: Aniversary collection a few weeks back which makes me wanna play. I’ve played the game on live but getting my ass handed to me but voiceless strangers isn’t quite as entertaining as by live people. It’s like 3:00 am while I’m posting this (can’t sleep) so likely nobody will even respond even if someone was interested but I figured what the heck.

Added on to the fact that I might have to find another I/O pcb for it. So I basically have to rebuild the machine from the ground up and locate hard to find parts. "

I was asking about the arcade. I’ve played most of the standard 2-d fighters, CVS2 is probably my prefered one though. Granted I’m used to the Playstation 2 & Xbox version.
I’m from a place called Parsons. A sprawling metropolis filled with 12,000 people.
Anywho, I probably won’t make it anyway. I had planned on leaving earlier, it’s a little after 1 o’clock now and KC is a 3 hour drive for me and I had planned on checking out Ameristar first (to play some Tekken: DR).
Disciple: Only thing Powerplay has going for it right now is Marvel, since the GG cab isn’t coming back. Other than that, one group of guys gets together to play Slash on the big screen, while another group of kids (that don’t post here for some reason) play 3S in Grandview.
Here’s a list of games played in town, and who prefers those games (as far as I know)…
MvC2: Adrian (LightningStorm), Chaz (aka Bob the Bastard aka The Beast), Treybone, Tommy (kcfantasyboi, who never shows up anymore), just about all of St. Joe
GG: Adrian, Tre, Drew (me), Martin (martinUSArmy), Josh and Ben (Team Scandalous), Chris (Novasonic) Mike (kshino, who doesn’t post at this part of SRK for some reason)
3S: Martin, Mike, Josh (KSI Archangel), Reed (ArtisticRage), Novasonic, and myself
A handful of us will play CvS2 and Alpha 3 when the opportunities present themselves.

Well, I’m heading out the door now. Like I said I probably won’t make it there but that’s just aswell cuz’ I’d have to learn MVC2 from the ground up. If you happen to see a fat black guy is desprete need of a shave however, go easy on him.

Couldn’t find the place, lol. Made it to the Independence Center but couldn’t locate the arcade. /sigh
That sucks man, there was a pretty decent crowd out tonight, me and my friend Dave were the only people there that were really any good, but it was definitely fun. They also have Soul Calibur 3 arcade edition at Ameristar if anyone even gives two shits.
And am I the only person on here from KC that actually plays Tekken seriously? That would suck.
I was the Nina player that wasn’t any good, lol (Chris Mishima on the TZ forums). But I beat your Dragunov though :bgrin:, which suprised the hell out of me. That CaptianInsaino guy didn’t seem too shabby either. Is Dave always like that? Dude seemed like he had Torrets (sp?), lol.
It’s always nice to play people besides the one friend I have that plays, even if I get my ass handed to me. I liked your Anna a lot, she’s a character I’ve wanted to learn but all here good stuff was added in DR so there no way for me to learn it. Which character is your best? I know you have a Jin card too cuz’ I fought your ghost up in Topeka. Isn’t talking about Tekken in a 2-D fighter forum fun?
I’ll play you in Tekken when I come to KC! I donno how to play DR tho. Actually my Tekken skills is kinda gimped. I play Kaz, Bryan, and Jin. I can only play Kaz and Jin on the right side like a lota people =x Oh btw, I’m coming up sometime between Sept 3rd-6th.
Ha I was wondering who that was, now I know haha. Anna’s my main, has been since 5.0, I just starting learning Dragunov a few weeks ago, and last night was NOT a good night to play him, I couldn’t get anything to work, and yeah, Dave’s always like that, especially if he’s getting streaked. Kinda rolls off my back now since I’m used to it, but surprises a lot of out of towners. I dicked around with Jin for a while since my friend gave me his card, but I don’t really play him much anymore. Good playing you though, if you’re gonna be back again anytime soon let me know on here or something and we can get some more games in.
