How simple is it to code a tourney function, i.e. Hold P2-P3-K3 to kill the lights unless you hold them all again, say for 3 seconds?
Not hard
Does that tourney code exist currently? Thatās kind of the only thing holding me back from purchasing honestly. Lol. Well, that and holidays killing my wallet.
Easily written, I can add a script this week

Hey Armi, quick question about the Kaimana ā from all the documentation Iāve read, it looks like it depends on acting as a passthrough for the PS360+. If Iām working with a TE2 Crossbone --> PS360+ setup, all the buttons will be wired up to the Crossbone TE2 PCB. Is there any way to still utilize the Kaimana in that capacity for basic operations? (LED on, LED off, etc.)
Are you using a PS4 or Xbox One TE2?
Xbox One TE2.
Umm is it normal that my LEDs arenāt working unless the Kaimana is also connected to a USB port of some sort? Just making sure really quickly, since I dunno what USB device I would bring if I want to show my LEDs in a match.
EDIT: Nvm fixed it.
I have a PS4 TE2 and was thinking of picking the Kaimanaās up. Very new to LED mods so Iām wondering how easy/difficult they are to install. Or do the LVT3s work on a PS4 TE2 (canāt find product page)?
I think the PS4 TE2 is a common ground board and it wont work with the XB1 version since its NOT a common ground board. My guess would be until an LVT3 is designed for the PS4 version you should stick to the regular Kaimana, but it would be more cumbersome to install with all of the connectors that Madcatz uses inside their sticks.

Thanks for the input, Jasen. Just read that someone tested continuity on the TE2 and posted their findings in the official TE2 thread:
Okay, so good news. The PS3/PS4 TE2 is (almost entirely?) common ground I can get continuity on ground for everything on the PCB except for the connector going to the front (closest to the player) that lights up the Madcatz PCB. Thatās not really needed for a dual mod so whatever, play ball.
Since it is confirmed mostly common ground, will installing the Kaimana be pretty straightforward? Should I ask this question in the other thread? Not sure since Iām a new forum user and donāt what to introduce redundancy.
Not redundant at all, I have a few I will be modding soon as a demo. You can definitely do the ps4 stick with a Kaimana though

Great! Iāll post there should I choose to go with the Kaimana. Will you also be doing a demo for PS4 LVT3s? Seems like the more practical solution for the TE2. Definitely would like to pick one up! How much would they cost?
Any word on the Kaimanaās compatibility with a system based off the Crossbone TE2?
The Kaimana is not compatible, however if you were to hook it up to the screw downs on the ps360 it would probably work well in PS360 mode, but not Xbox one mode.
Is the LVT3 standalone from the Kaimana board? Looks much more beginner friendly, and by the looks of it will fit my Xrd TE2? But are they even available to buy?
When MadCatz release the Type N top plate I guess the LVT3 wouldnāt fit?
Hi, Iām new to modding and have absolutely no idea what Iām doing, I went to paradisearcade and bought the 11 button pele kit for my Madcatz SFxT Pro, so far all Iāve done is replace the buttons and put the kaimana jās on them and daisy chained them together, have done absolutely nothing with the board as I have no idea what to do, can anyone give me a step by step of what I need to do? Thank you.
Hello, I am having a bit of a hard time finding a working link in this forum to the animation programs. Does anyone know any other links?
Hey guys. @ZonbiPanda Iām not sure if my stick always did this but its programmed for the hadoken move (down right forward + punch) to do an animation. When I do a dragon punch (forward, down, right, forward +punch) the hadoken animation comes out. What would be the best way to remedy this?
