What I meant there was 150 ms or more wont lagg to death even if its on LAN assuming you are not playing on emulinker servers.
Well, I probably couldn’t play with 150ms delay. Mayb a little depending on the other guy’s delay. It would not be like how I normally play. I’d probably do some super moves and pray to god that they hit. Would not even bother trying something like connecting kevin’s 2 lp supers in a row in garou even if my ping is 0. Because I know for sure there is delay and chances of it not being too soon or too late is vary vary slim. That doesn’t mean there aren’t people who could do it with their eyes closed on kaillera.
It is different. Its different if you have 0 ping than if you have 50. Its different if you are playing offline than if you are with 0 ping. Its different if you are playing on arcade than if you are on your mame. Thats why there is no point in complaining.
I have to say that I played on kaillera with some friends today for the first time in a while. I hosted a server with max 3 people and we all had it on excellent. It ran better than any other time i’ve ever played. It was actually playable and I could dp jumpins!
Ok, yeah, I’m only playing A3 and ST on excellent. Tried using it exclusively the last couple days, then tried it on good today with dbostick when excellent wasn’t working for us, and it was god fucking awful after not using it for a couple days. It felt like I had a led weight on my character. I couldn’t activate through poke chains, couldn’t anti-air, couldn’t even block very basic things in time.
Even the ones I won, I only really won by luck since lag makes it difficult to get out of Cody’s corner trap, even if it’s poorly executed. I’d see him advance, and try to activate, and nothing would happen and I’d eat a chain combo. It was extremely frustrating. To the point where I just told him forget it.
I’d like to do the same thing with Vampire Saviour, but that game has so few players as it is, and gb’s ping isn’t low enough for that, so I don’t think I can afford to.
I’ve actually been playing vampire savior the last few days with doujinshi_2001. He knows how to play but I just started a few days ago with my scrub talbain. If you want you can hit up the server we play in. The games run really smooth with very very small button delay. like 1/10 of a second.
If anything hit me up on aim and we can set something up. I want to learn how to play that shit.
