Time: 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time

Format: 2/3 Falls, Double Elimination. 3/5 Falls Winners and Losers Finals. 4/7 Grand Finals.

Connection: P2P (if there are P2P problems, a mutual server can be agreed upon)

Ping/Frames: Ping no higher than 50ms in a server and Excellent connection is required.

All brackets will be co-ordinated through #3Stournament on Efnet.

NOTES

  • Mandatory IRC rule is in effect. If you have come across players on Kaillera that play this game please send them a link to this thread and tell them to get IRC. I will not co-ordinate matches between IRC and Kaillera because people don’t want to take 30 seconds for a couple meg download.

  • Only one player per PC. Multiple players can cause a hold up in getting through the matches.

  • Registration is done by being in the channel between 8:30pm - the brackets are created. Do no send me PM’s for your registration, I will not sue them. As long as you’re in the channel, you will be added to the list.

  • Ranks from the previous tournament will be used to determine ranks for this tournament.

Sorry bud, I work every 2nd weekend so I plan the tournaments on the Sunday that I’m off work. Otherwise I’d be starting registration around 10:30pm and starting at 11:00pm.

Keep it Sundays. They’re perfect since offline tournies are usually Saturdays anyway.

Any chance I could sneak into this one like I did last year?

Connections will be laggy with me. I doubt I’ll even get 50ms, though through p2p I have gotten around 40 with some US heads.

Just wanna play thats all. If anyone somehow loses to me and complains about lag they can have the win by default - I’m not bothered.

i think most people have MAME32++117 version.
and doesnt the ping matter where u are and what server u go to?

i thought 117 was the standard version used among SRK’ers as well. i want to play in the tourney, guess i’ll have to go get 119.

Sounds like fun to me. I should be there. Also, thanks for making it .119; I’m tired of always having to use .117 when playing peeps.

I might be in if I get everything set up on my PC correctly. I just started playing the game, so I’ll probably get trounced, but maybe I’ll learn something :slight_smile:
