First of all, no one has anything to brag on when it comes to SF4. Justin won a pad tourney and a 16 man finals littered with randoms. Marn won an EC regional when Justin wasn’t there. I don’t know why people are even talking about Sabin and Gootecks… The only thing remotely convincing is that Justin managed to beat Iyo one game… right before he got waffle stomped by Daigo. Nice.
In fact, we have no idea who the best in the US is. That’s what the tournament is for.

What’s the point of all this? I just don’t get it. I sat and read through this whole thread and it feels like justin and alex are just tap-dancing for the audience.
I see alot of people say this is a win/win for either one of them but in reality it just feels like both of them are going in for a loss. Don’t get me wrong, this would be fun for me to watch but it just seems like both of them are just wasting their energy. If its just for the money then yea it makes sense, but outside of SRK who’s gonna remember this?
