You mean like talking about how you would’ve won if allowed to pick another character? I agree wholeheartedly.:wgrin:
I wholesomely agree with this post, Pro Gamer Slash Street Fighter 4 Master, Justin Wong! Rufus is not gimmicky.
You chose him against Daigo, because, the players were not allowed, er, did not want to change their characters, because they wanted to please the crowd. Because you were doing that raise the roof, whenever your did the super, you were raising the roof with the crowd, and they liked that.
A perfect explanation with reasonable points, in regards to your loss against Daigo.
Always bet on Justin! - Justin Wong
You’re trying too hard. Tone down the sarcasm a little.
Thanks for the posting feedback, bro!
(How was that? Still too forced?)
i think it’s a little more than obvious that Jwong kicked some ass at the GS games… even taking into account that he lost to Diago… he beat the other GS finalists… and he did incredibly well in the exibition games… Jwong obviously has skill so leave him alone… that being said… i’m still betting on valle when and if this MM happens… oh and also Daigo is a robot who can see 3-5 seconds into the future… so you can’t really compare anyone’s skill to him effectively
lol…I wouldn’t expect a person in the scene as long as you have to just flat out call that randomness…EX messiah xx dash forward xx dive kick is far from a gimmick…its a grab bait lol…
I love how justin losing to daigo ONE MATCH means something but Iyo losing to Justin ONE MATCH doesnt mean shit…
Man you know what…damn your absolutely right…3s does take more SF fundementals then marvel Valle is clearly an advantage because we all know Justin is terrible at 3s and has never placed in 3s…
Hey, I’ll give Justin credit. He pulled a great feat getting to the finals and winning. I’d have to buy him a drink. On the other hand, his attitude is not even half as stellar as his game. I’d probably want to poison said drink.
This is so funny, Justin is just asking for you guys to put up the money, but all anyone seems to want to provide is shit talk and bringing up 4/7 round exhibition matches. Real classy.
WC big mouths, small pockets?
EC full mouth, no pockets
EC, think about the number. Justin ain’t coming up with 10 racks and ain’t playing for 10 racks if you guys are lining his pockets.
With a number like that it has turned into a sponsored Exhibition match. Nobody is walking away with 10 racks. Let’s just call it $100,000.
Hey, don’t get me wrong, I use gimmicks all day long. Gimmicks win you matches, ESPECIALLY in one game scenarios. I know you had it planned Justin, I know you adjusted and were probably waiting for the opportunity to land it after the first round. That’s why I said it was planned (going over fireball, etc…). Luckily the payoff for random Messiah’s is so good, Ken I tries that shit on me all day. However, zoning is what Iyo was doing to you and you managed to get through it with some “gimmicks”. You don’t think Iyo would adjust to it probably almost instantly the next games? That’s one of the reasons you are so good, cause you adjust quickly but the same has to be said for the Japanese players. That’s why you cannot say you RAPED Iyo. There was no domination, it was just him zoning you and then you getting in with Messiah and hitting for massive damage. And that is why I’m saying trying to pretend anyone is the so called BEST in the U.S. is stupid right now when we have zero results to look at.
Luckily, Rufus just needs to get in a hit a couple of times and rounds over for Dhalsim. Maybe that’s just how the Rufus vs Sim matchup goes.
P.S. For the record I will bet on Valle. 100 on Valle. EVO will be craaaazzzzzy this year.
I can NEVER bet against Justin.
With that said, I don’t understand how people year after year can still doubt that ching chong.
Oh and I like both players, but I think Wong will win in a good match.
Right, and from what I know (and as previously stated earlier in this topic), Iyo didn’t go home and complain about the match-up, regretting not making a character change.
i will have a gallon size gatorade bottle for this event. you are all welcome to have some if youve shared some gatorade with me before.
with that said, i really like both guys, but will prolly bet on wong since he let me crash at his pad during ECC cpl years back.
I bring up an online site where you can bet on anything… and you shoot it down saying you want the money up front?
umm I like this sport and all, and competitive fighting is fun, but seriously the best way to get this jumpin off is using a credit card/debit card to wire a bet. you can set a deadline for when bets need to be posted… and the match can go on well after it.
a ton easier to have 150 random people put up $100 bet with their CC online then expect us to actually walk around with a friggin briefcase with money in it.
Edit: Hell Im jobless and Im STILL betting on Wong.
id even bet Iloveu joe vs gootex
As someone who isn’t associated with either coasts, this thread is amazing.
This thread is fighting game drama at its best. old school vs new school. east vs west.
im east coast random but i cant decide. i got 100 on both
