Yea, replace the word league with team, company, or whatever the English word is for the entity in question.
Sanford used to be humble before EMP, especially every time Justin made him cry. Triforce has been trying to add star power to his members for years and Justin just used him for it.
When I saw Arturo near CF I thought he was some homeless bum looking for change outside I don’t know why people let Arturo get to them. So what he says stay free. It’s just shit talk, part of the game, as long as it stays just part of the game and you guys shake hands after. What happened to the old days when losing was a learning experience. It’s like this SF4 and MvC3 are bringing out a new generation of children that are terrified to leave their house.
this isn’t even about EMP. It’s about all these pro fighting game players who think they are superior to everyone just because they are good in a video game. Also the fact they are not good people to talk to because your not known in the community. I swear if you try to talk to people like sanford, arturo, chris hu, edma. etc they will ignore you and talk shit about everyone of the new players. They take the game way to serious. trust me ive been to many tourneys in ny lately and could tell you so many stories about the well know players. If you only watch the streams they are a lot of things you are not seeing behind the scenes.
like one of people i mentioned Chris Hu. he sounds like a cool guy on the spooky streams but when you meet him hes a jerk too. i played him and beat him with cammy who is a secondary of mine against his ryu which he mains and is famous in community for. i looked at him and he looked upset and edma was in the background laughing and distracting me tell me to do ultra. we played a second time and he won. keep in mind this was a just a casual and they acted like fucking babies.
To be fair, new players are looking to shit on top players as well, so it works both ways. Chris feels like he has to win when he plays people he doesn’t know are better than him, so what about him getting upset? When you’re unknown you have nothing to lose. When you’re a so called top player, if you lose to someone unknown, then everyone is going to be talking about how you lost to some random. Not all players are like that though. You’re taking all this too seriously.
Most of the complaining is coming from the new comers. What do you constitute as acting like children? You can call everyone on SRK a child because you’re all on a video game forum and video games are for children. Let people be themselves. When I stopped played fighting games a while ago, I forgot how to play them. When I tried to get back in, I had to deal with a bunch of scrubs who thought they were good because they won a match. Let them stroke their ego.
can’t wait for some new blood to stir up some drama in the fighting game community. This shit is as stale as yesterday’s sushi. The transparency of the community is getting a bit too large scale when we can openly discuss and disect people’s lives “so free.”
