Difference is that Ron Artest is not the face of NBA. When LeBron skipped the post game press conference after losing to Orlando, he was fined.

It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile; a win is a win.
So true. And what a win it was!
Someone likes the original Fast & The Furious movie.
Quoting bad (read: awesome) movies with bad quotes is pretty much staple here on SRK.
Daigo is Ivan Drago from rocky 4 and JW is Apollo Creed.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
from another thread
all almost all of the esport leagues have all fallen under. meanwhile SF is still going strong what does that say about esports?
and evo was on g4 a few years ago, and they did a horrible job covering the event. they focused on 3d fighters only, and who was the best dressed at evo, that was it. We wouldn’t want G4 to cover evo again if they’re coverage is only going to consist of the pretty 3d games and who’s gay and who dresses nice.
Actually I have talked about Poongko so I don’t know what you’re talking about. The gamestop tournament didn’t disprove anything about my thoughts of Poongko, regardless of the fact that he lost.
Well Seth Killian said it was 4000…anyway, when a bunch of them are chanting USA, I doubt it’s making Daigo feel comfortable.
Well a common thing I’m noticing is that a lot of the AMerican players only look at the score when they win, but when they lose, then they start pointing out how close the matches were and how they still played well despite losing…
I believe the win itself does mean something but in the end, evaluating the overall performance of both players regardless of who won, is more important…but clearly it’s a one sided thing going on right now.
And way to just look at the fact that he barely won and not WHY it was that close

I don’t know man, you seemed pretty serious in the video and I think you’re backpeddaling now.
Let’s just see what happens at SBO two weeks from now. Honestly, I think Wong does have a chance to get past first round.
who is Rocky? Ken-i?
Quoting seinfeld , i gotta respect that
And about the vin diesel quote ( alltho im fairly certain he wasnt the first one to say that ) , i think we should all remember how extremely close the match was to ending in the first set.
Daigo missed ( unexplainably ) the super , then he missed the lvl 2 focus combo , and then Justin hit his ultra. That was a very rare series of events that made the match go into a second set. Not saying it was totally uncalled for , but if it had ended where it should have\could have , then i think people would look at it totally different.
Then again , wong put up one hell of a fight , gotta give him props for that.
He must do a lot of practicing.
USA! USA!
Well do you realize that the warcraft 3 scence has died and alot of those players are owed money and aren’t getting paid
Well, I dont know what people are talking about, but i dont think that what he does is wrong nor it should be persived as wrong, Justin Wong, wether anyone likes it or not, is a great street fighter player, i think we can all agree on that as he has proved it year after year so if he taunts and sheers for himself its more than deserved and in most cases actually encuraged, i was present at Evo this year and althou it was my very first it served to paint a very vivid picture of the community and clearly depicted the rivaldry between east coast and west coast.
on this Evo it seemed as if the east coast did not have a lot of attendees thus whenever a good west coast player did something nice on the big screen the sheering was almost deffining compared to when it was an east coast player, i think this is one of the reasons why he always tries to pump up the east coast crowd by doing this taunts. and i read of people saying that with that kind of behavior it will be hard for him to be sponsored and that it hurts the community, that if Evo is to be telivised this will be unacceptable but in my opinion, this is what Evo needs, people with spark, people that show sings of life and joy, i mean i have seen some videos of Poongko playing and he looks like he is being forced to play, he shows no sings of joy or happines, same applies to Daigo, no sings of emotions at all, this makes the scene kinda dull, lifeless, so the best thing that could have happened was Justin taunting the crowd and sheering like he did, it created a different atmosfere, it made a lot of people look at the scene differently, some liked it, some did not, some even got offended by it, but we all are going to remember it, and the fact that we are all talking about it long after Evo wrapped up proves it.
American, Japanese, Mexican, black, white, brown green we are all Humans, I just don’t like people bragging wins on people’s faces.
a win is a win…yea he did win the check statement says that…
but you all act like justin wong can’t beat daigo and like he really punished justin wong like he wasn’t tense
and get the fuck out of there talking about how close it was…
if jwong had beaten daigo all you wong haters would just say…WELL DAIGO BEAT JWONG ALL THE OTHER TIMES…DAIGO OWNS!!! gtfoh
hahahahahahaha. Its SOOOO TRUE.
The gap between USA and Japan is closing in. Hype it up
I’m going to keep my post extremely simple, im from 03.
Justin Wong is a great player, gotta respect him for that. If you have a problem with him being cocky or being a fat asian boy then you’re judging the wrong thing. Playing video games and EVO itself should not being a popularity contest the guy is better then all of east/west coast he does have some bragging rights. So he acts goofy and fucking acts like a complete retard when he has press in his face but oh well. EVO isn’t about being the coolest around camera’s or to the people you play with it’s who is the best player.
Just look at it from a third perspective and he’ll seem a bit tolerable. Also I mean he isn’t all that bad of a guy i’ve seen matchs of him on youtube he does help people and give them advice. It’s not like he only plays pro’s.
i was told that this is what you pussies would say in a hurry…
quit riding your fuckin thumb queer…people are supposed to join these forums…thats what they’re for
In the very last game of j wong v daigo, it looked like daigo caught on that wong wasn’t tap punching through fbs, he pretty much won the last game with fb spam. If only wong remembered tap goes through fb’s…
