If Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey (this is the movies real title lol) is as good as its sounding like then im down for her getting to do a 3rd one. She seems really passionate about it and she was the best part of Suicide Squad.

Only half the theater was full when I went to see it with friends.
Saw Bird Of Prey last night. To keep it short and simple…l loved it. Will see it again. Also, this movie brought back long lost feelings I had for Rosie Perez. She can call me Mookie anytime!
Oh yeah, apparently someone leaked a look of Cheetah but those images got taken down with the swiftness.

Just got out of BOP. I actually really really liked it. Margot Robbie has made Harley her own while still staying true to the character.
You can tell she has leaned heavy into the new 52 Harley for inspiration which is fantastic. Everyone had great chemistry too. McGregor was awesome too.
I know who Rosie Perez is but whoever played huntress and black canary… my god. Antonio banderes gif tasty ladies.
Also Chad Stahelski‘s finger prints were all over this movie. Fucking awesome.
Easily my favorite DCEU but not a DCEU anymore movie.
Edit: anyone who tries to say BOP is a bad movie because it’s “anti-men” or “woke” are fucking idiots who clearly haven’t seen the movie.

I barely knew of it but at the same time I don’t care about this movie. /Kanyeshrug
It did not.
I just got back from Birds of Prey. I liked it.
Pros:
Margot as Harley. (IMO the best thing about Suicide Squad). Her zaniness and her gymnastics, and even her dramatic acting was great
Action scenes. As Stu said, John wick direction/choreography made the movie significantly more enjoyable
Song choices. Probably the best use of retro songs since Guardians of the Galaxy films
Ewan McGregor as Black Mask. While he was campy in some parts, he could exude menace like that part where he told the girl to take off her dress. His mask looked cool too(wished it was in the film more)
the animated intro and quick text jokes/heads up display gags
Cons
This is a 2/3 Harley movie and 1/3 BOP film. The others get some decent backstory/character bits. I suppose Cassandra Cain was different than I thought; I thought she would be a mute badass(from what Ive read about her) Huntress had the least screen time , though oddly her origin is more fleshed out than the others oddly enough.
Some of the time manipulation and rewinding by Harley is a bit weird. One segment in a police station almost got me confused for a bit since the flashback went WAY back. The pacing is a little off too.
The movie is only 1hr 39 min without credits but felt like 2 hours.
I liked about 1/2 the jokes. They were clearly trying to emulate Deadpool, but I think DP jokes landed more satisfyingly.
Overall: 7.5/10.
I think it is equal to Aquaman.

This is it’s major glaring and obvious fault. The constant time skips and back tracking really pissed me off.
