Yeah. I mentioned Pounder as Viola’s potential replacement when the reboot was announced. Both are really good actresses
I don’t know much of Viola’s work but I’ve loved everything I’ve watched of Pounders work. She was phenomenal in The Shield and what little she was in Sons of Anarchy she was usually the scene stealer. She has a great authoritative presence.

More importantly she’s going to be in the Amazon Video adaptation of The Boys. Knowing how raunchy and full of debauchery that comic is I can’t wait to see how its translated over to TV. (Just within the first few issues there are several rapes, sexual assaults and a coke fueled transvestite orgy)

Blame newgrounds artist turned Let’s player Arin “egoraptor” Hanson. He said it a few times in some of his videos and I found the term hilarious and it just kinda naturally made its way into my vernacular. Kind of like how me saying “poop mouth dinosaur” became apart of @chadouken ‘s (you’re still welcome btw, buddy)

No spoilers but i just saw Shazam and…
…christ! The first 3/4ths of the movie were pretty good. Then a key moment occured and it all fell apart.
…“All hands on deck”… how fitting. That does sound like a phrase you’d hear the crew say right before a plane crash. Things got so bad that i actually missed another key moment at the end because i was facepalming in my seat so hard.
Just sayin’. Aquaman MAY have been a freak accident, and the DCEU still up to it’s suckage ways, with minimal course corrections taken.
Edit: I feel blue-balled damnit. I want to see the alternate cut of the movie WITHOUT that horseshit taking place. The movie both literally, as well as figuratively, stole it’s own Thunder and momentum.

Yeah. Shazam was awesome until the 3rd act. Then it just got dumb. That’s been pretty much every DCEU movie though. I think we can finally agree on something @AlphaCharlie
So next Suicide Squad movie is called…The Suicide Squad.

Are we going to have the Shazam family all the time now? Are they going to be in the Justice League? WTF. I’m still pissed. I signed up for an Superhero Origin story, and the damn movie shifted gears without warning into being a Power Ranger wannabe Team-up origin. Were these guys even in the comics?! And they stole presence away from what was SUPPOSED to be our lead character! He should have been the one kicking demon ass, not the Shazam Sentai squad! %#%^#$@#!!!
Maybe read the comics or do a little research? That would explain to you what you’re bitching about comes from.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with you. The entire 3rd act was stupid. But what happened wasn’t a thing they did specifically for the movie. It happens in the comics too. Not in the same way. But it does happen.
they even tell you in the movie the powers of Shazam are transferable. It’s the whole point of the Doctors plan. To get the powers transferred to him.
