You can punish full screen blanka balls with reversal ultra II I just tested it which should make the match a bit easier.
c.lp, c.mk feels like a 2-frame link to me.

If c.lk, c.lk, s.lk xx lp rekkas works better for you, it’s still a better hit confirm than c.lp, c.lp, s.lp, c.mk xx rekkas. But, as I said, YMMV.
I find c.lp, c.mk xx rekkas really hard but if you do c.lp, c.lp, c.mk xx rekkas it seems easier. (even though i think it’s the same.
c.lp, c.mk is the same link regardless of what came before it.
anyone care to share super combos/links? like one to start off for beginners? i always notice that i have full super all the time since i don’t know how to spend meter with yang.
Mid screen: s.hp xx lk dash loop.
Corner: c.mp dash loop.
I feel like we will eventually find some better mid screen combos for the super.

An interesting thing I just noticed and haven’t seen anywhere which may make things easier for some people. Yangs EX slashes come in sets of 2 with the exception of the last one. So to do all 5 you DO NOT need to in put the directional inputs 5 times, just 3. The second slash in the set comes out with just a punch so all you have to do is:
:qcf:PP,PP :qcf: PP,PP :qcf: PP.
and actually after the first PP any single punch button should do to finish the combo instead of hitting 2 punch buttons. Just a little tidbit that made things easier for me and hopefully will help others.
Dont know if anyone know this but byakko soshoda blocks firballs and you lose no health.I use the medium or heavy one to block them. EX fireballs still hit you though even if you EX byakko soshoda. You have time time it right to block them.

So, sweeping lowers Yang’s hitbox low enough to dodge Ryu’s U1.
I was checking the new replay features and the best Yang players I found were Acqua (ACQUA0316), Floe (fLoE) and Allioune Sensei (Allioune Sensei), definetly check them out.

Also what are you guys using for anti-airs? I’ve been using mainly stand MK, but cr. HP seems pretty godlike if you can react quickly enough to use it right. Although close standing MK gets you a followup attack.
The AA question has been asked about fifteen times. But, s.mk, s.hk, LK DP, jump back and neutral jump hk.
As far as kara throws, I haven’t found any worth using. HK, MP, and F+MK all have a very small kara range. Karaing lk is kinda funny looking, though.
yeah as for kara throws he has none that compare to likes of vega or ken but an extra inch doesnt hurt lol.

I have no clue against the former diveckick characters, aka Rufus and Cammy. 90% of that is that players who main them have lots of experience while my yang is new and rubbish of course, but still… couldn’t find a decent gameplan in the few games I played against those 2
