I sincerely hope it was more than his command crab into Ultra that got changed in the build between your tier ranking and final console. Unless of course that command grab had insanely fast startup as well as the ability to go into Ultra. But even than you would need quite a few frame tweaks and being able to FADC into Full Ultra to be near S tier… like you ranked him.
In fact it’s this sort of thing which is why I’m interested in you putting in the frame data for the 2nd final build… be interesting to see who got nerfed from the last two builds.

Well geez Makoto looks ass (though everyone said the same about her when 3S came out and she’s the 4th best character in that game) and if she’s "that much “better” than Juri than ouch…
I guess something that isn’t a 1-frame link and universal against all characters that combos into a “high damage” special (ideally 3 or 4 attacks before special). Sakura has loads of them off c.LP that range from 2-4 frame links and on certain characters using s.LP gives her an extra frame. She’s also lucky she can end the link on a c.MK or c.HP, which I guess puts it from good to great. The example I gave is a 4-frame link, which I think is very tasty :bgrin:

she has an extremly good jump in to be honest, as u maybe saw in the p-mode vid against ryu - the j.HK is very mighty, i missed few times i know but after the recordings i checked it again against ryu wakeup srk, i mean safe jumpin with j.hk and i stuffed hes srk’s all the time 10/10 no prob.
as i said before, maybe i’ll get an other chance to play the game those days. if so then i hope i’ll get enough time for this
Definately test if she can combo into Senpusha off of c.lk. We might have to go the Bison route and do (c.lk)xN xx lk Senpusha. Also test if she can chain c.lk and c.lp. Then you can do the cammy instead (c.lk xx c.lp xx c.lk xx lk senpusha) Above all else these could serve as possible BnB’s i guess. Any normals or moves that force an opponent to stand on hit? Like Balrog can do j.rh, s.fp on crouchers…the s.fp hits late and forces a stand, sort of like hitting a meaty in your combo and you can link s.lp xx whatever. Sigh, just too many questions at this point! Need to actually play the game
That’s not too bad then, quite good really. As long as we have a few 2-3 frame links into Pinwheel, then that’s all we need in that aspect. Sakura’s c.LK > c.LK > c.MK xx HP Shou does 199 damage I think, linking with s.LK does 180ish so if we’re looking at those kind of figures then I think the damage is respectable.
Once we get some hard frame data we’ll be able to see clearly what kind of (useful) links we’ll have.
I remember Justin saying about ending links with c.MK or s.MP, of course that was a much earlier build but have you tried s.MP on the end of links?
Like Ghrrk said, if we can get a 3-hit link combo from just light attacks it won’t be so bad, just as long as it’s at least a 2 frame link (3+ frames would ideal).

I really have no idea how capcom thinks anymore. This character not having high amount of health and stun rate, could I expect this character to either be fast and or do more damage then a shato? I already saw a lot of options with this character and the ex dive kick looks useful for once, just like a hard kick to hurricane kick into the air smacking Zangief across the map. I was also wondering, is it possible to link an Ultra every time after a pinwheel kick without a cancel and what is the strongest pinwheel kick you could use in a combo? I don’t see many people using this character due to lower health semi fast speed with no fast back dash moderate priority and from the looks of it you won’t rely on blocking or spamming much. More of the lines of thinking if hard punch to hard pinwheel ex cancel last hit into dive kick for 300 damage at least if were lucky.
I heard the Pinwheel > Ultra was taken out but no idea how truthful that is. We have EX Dive Kick > Ultra, which is pretty tricky to time it seems. j.MP x2 > Ultra (wonder if can do it with just one j.MP and some clever timing and spacing). I wonder if the Dive Kick (1 hit) in corner to Ultra still works
Wonder if Fireball Kick FADC > Ultra works, since the kick causes knock down. Or EX Fireball FADC > Ultra
Is j-MP>Ultra confirmed? Because I remember Seth looks like he should be able to do that, but isn’t. Not with one hit, not with 2 hits.

Pfft, don’t know where that came from” or “That doesn’t work anymore.”. And you said which version you were running on the “Frame Data in prima Guide?” thread.
Couldn’t you just release the kick button during the FADC so that the fireball doesn’t come out? I know that the setup Sugami has in mind probably wouldn’t work but just sayin’.
