I saw it knock down standing opponents multiple times in some video. I disagree about the knockdown thing. A cross-up like that would be a really powerful tool if you could combo after it, as they have no idea which way to block.

Funny, just the other day, I was thinking that she’d be perfect to play Juri if ever they decided to make another live action SF (frightening as the idea may be).

Is there any clips of Juri countering a fireball? Or does anyone know what happens?

I’m pretty sure her counter will counter anything that’s not an armor breaker/throw.

So if someone is spamming fireballs… what can you do from the counter that puts you above your opponent? Ex Divekick while on the way down?

Forward dash counter through projectiles will probably be very useful.

Thought we were talking about that Chun-Li type head-stomp, not a dive kick (which seems to be what you pointed me at).

There any footage of said head-stomp knocking down a standing/ducking opponent?

So badass, and that little backdash looks really useful. Like, on reaction to a dash punch or a tiger knee. Liking it a lot.

Juri just like she has a lot of funky interesting normals. Like the one aerial one that causes an untechable knockdown.

It looks like Juri wit er storing of firebals will be able to apply pressure safely. This will probably be the biggest ting she has going for her, imo.

I hink playing her as rushdwon queen will just be one the ways to use her.

Is it just me or does it look like Juri has 3 different normals that can act as an anti-air?

c.MP or FP has her extending her arm at a 45 degree angle with limited range but if someone is jumping in on you, you should be able to poke them out.

c.RH is that slower normal where she sort of launches her leg at a 45 degree angle. More range but slower start up.

s.MK? is that weird back flip move that puts them in a juggle state. It looks like it could go against some air moves maybe?

The launcher is like…Fierce, supposedly.

yeah, the launcher is Fierce. Question: Does that kick really cause an untechable knockdown? The one that slams you down Akuma Palm style?

Because Vipers far.HK has that property but it’s not untechable.

So can anyone guess what character we can train with right now in vanilla sf4 to have an okay idea of how to use Juri in super? I wanna step up my game asap to use Juri.

Use Seth to get used to low health and dive kicks. Akuma to get used to that rushdown.
