Nerf it. Juri’s broken.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if it actually wasn’t broken? There could be a lot more in store for the returning cast than we’re aware of. With Juri getting wall bounces and DeeJay getting an EX move that crumples, they could really be planning on shaking stuff up with character’s special attributes.

It’s hard to say what the final cut has in store for us. If the latest Fight Club videos are any indication, there’s a good deal of tweaking that’s going to happen.

Haha! I can’t believe there are actually people who will play as Juri. Worst character design ever.
I don’t like her, but I think it’s okay that other people do.

Still think she looks like Rita Repulsa–in fact, it’s insurmountable for me–but obviously some players are into that.
Some people are into any female character showing some skin, no matter how vulgar or uninspired her design is. Juri is just fanservice. No art for art’s sake here.

True, but her playstyle and moveset looks fun as hell so I’ll still play her.
You gotta be pretty conservative to think of the amount of skin that Juri shows makes her fanservice. She’s just an interesting character to some ppl. Do you gotta make it into some derisive shit?

One of his Tiger Shots, you have to block it like a cross up.
She’s got Ultra setups that seem to be designed to work against runaway/turtle players, that alone makes her worth playing.
Are you talking about the move that is blocked low at 3.48?
Blocked the first hit low and the second high. Question is, which hit is cancelable?
She’s fast, has a great moveset so far, and has fairly high output damage. Same concept as Rufus. People play rufus because of his abilities, it’s for sure not because of his character model.
As for me, I mained Jam in GGAC, who was a lot of kicks and stood on one leg…so juri is kinda my SF Jam.

Anyone know what Juri’s AA options are if any?
Juri is easily the best design of the characters added to SFIV, though that’s not saying much.
So far, the only thing that concerns me is the fact her dive kick is so fucking fast. Everything else looks reasonable to me. The other character should be buffed to her level, not Juri toned down. We need more characters with wall bounce moves (and floor bounce moves! Think Q SAII!) and special moves that cause crumple stun (as opposed to 2 right now, and assuming they don’t nerf Dee Jay and/or tone up Viper, only one of those will ever be used).
BTW, that overhead axe kick of her’s… it could simply be a normal move, not a special normal.
If they give everyone wall bounce, they’d have to give everyone super jump (C.Viper) and crumpling specials (Deejay). I’d rather they keep Juri’s wall bounce to herself.
