Intresting sounding taunt. Very Useful. She seems to have alot of “get the fuck off me” Moves. Not sure what the Air Special is but I dont want to see another character get destroyed by overly defensive players. Hopfully a nice overhead should prevent that too much.

Juri’s going to have all the defensive gameplay options of that fucking butterfly she’s kicking in half. From what I’ve seen, that kick fireball is LOLROSE speed, and she takes hella damage.
Juri’s going to be a pixie. If you don’t have balls, you won’t be able to successfully play her. She’s going to be fast, probably low damage, with very few tools to get out of bad situations. Just like the other new character she’s supposedly like- Viper.

first of all juri has many more moves than the fireball. she does not need the fireball in her ability to fight most characters. so why such a big deal about the fireball lulz? :lame:
Ok next of all! Juri has the psycho power, much like bison, in that she will have avarege hp. She survived losing an eye, u think she doesnt have 1000 healtth lulz? :lame:
Ok and last of all, she doesnt take balls. This will be mostr evident as the games metagame evolves, but trust my word! Watch when she will blow up on the tiers listsings. After she does that haha, most of these scrubs will be first to hop on her dick(no homo) haha lulz! :lame:

We’ve been over this, most of us think she’ll have somewhat average health. Considering you can’t combo into T Hawks ultra (which is was most of us assume) his ultra probably does around 600 damage which is how much Giefs ultra does, if she had Seth-like health it would have done MUCH more damage.

I love how you see “that fireball is almost as bad Rose’s” and I see “those fireballs have the slow speed of Guiles/'Sim’s and the trajectory of Gouken’s, they’re gonna be sweet”. And no the recovery doesn’t look anywhere near Rose bad. And as has been pointed out multiple times before, we have nothing which implies she has low stamina.
More importantly than all this, Ono did say that currently she seems a bit powerful to them, so that implies people’s reactions are on point.
I’m not going to speculate about what I expect her eventual tier to be however, this seems pointless.
We can only hope :looney: That would be another of the “firsts” that ono likes talking about so much.
The startup on the fireballs looked pretty wicked from what I remember. But yeah the recovery didn’t look that bad.

EDIT: I’d say she’s probably going to be mid to high mid to be honest. It seems like, with my limited SF experience, pixie characters don’t fair too well in SFIV for obvious reasons of strong zoning characters and high damage pokes. The only way I can see that changing is if she either has high health or has a very, very good mixup game and solid pressure strings. Since SFIV doesn’t really have solid pressure strings in general (obviously there are exceptions for most characters, but blockstun is so short that the pressure is very easy to escape), I’d say her main hope is a great high/low/throw mixup, preferably with a command grab that can lead into other moves. Then again… I’m still hoping for Mak as well. But if Juri became the Mak of SFIV, I wouldn’t object :3
why are you guessing tier lists on a character thats not finished in a game thats not released?
